Being a sentinel and having the doom slayer in your side would probably be a hell of an morale boost, I like to think this was their war chant inspired by the slayer
imagine this: you’re a sentinal and you’re coming up to a sea of demons, and all of a sudden you feel a gust of wind push you to the side, and then in a single moment, you see the sea of demons quickly turn into a red cloud, and the only person you can see in the melee is the doom slayer, ripping and tearing demons apart like they’re nothing.
It canonically is. When doom guy was an arena fighter, "RIP AND TEAR" was his battle cry, and the audience members cheering him on later used the phrase. At the battle of Tara's Nabad, when the Doom Slayer left the divinity machine, his voice rung out and morale was returned to the sentinels, who were fighting a losing battle
If I recall, this Praetor Suit model produces actual music out of nowhere for the Doom Slayer. These are actual Night Sentinels cheering him on, but just recordings.
When you first hear this song and immediately start dodging the boss's attacks almost to the beat of the song is probably one of the most adrenaline induced feeling I've had while playing a game.
You gotta give the classic hell knights credit; after being absent for so long, they put on a HELL of a last show. We cut down so many of them, yet this single one became strong enough to face the slayer in one on one combat and put up a damn good fight. Love this boss.
the slayer probably even respected the gladiators bravery and it's one on one with Gladiator. The Slayer will probably by far will not doubt the gladiators effort.
this songs gets somehow more badass when you find out that "KAR EN TUK" is the Sentinels chanting "Rip and Tear" in their language, the story being that when doomguy first fought in their arena they shouted "Rip and Tear" even though the words meant nothing to them, because doomguy kicked that much ass. As they learnt what the words meant it changed to their own language.

Burned by the embers of Armageddon, his soul blistered by the fires of Hell, and tainted beyond ascension - he chose the path of perpetual torment. In his ravenous hatred he found no peace; and with boiling blood he scoured the Umbral Plains, seeking vengeance against the dark lords who had wronged him. He wore the crown of the Night Sentinels, and those that tasted the bite of his sword named him . . . The Doom Slayer. "Oh! You're going down,You big chungus"
This theme while playing gladiator on nightmare with no sentinel crystals is the best goddamn boss music in the world
Brawler mode?
I had someone come up to me in the gym after finishing my reps after listening to this track a few months ago and they went "Hey man, you don't need to go so hard, be careful."
No. No, stranger, I do have to go that hard.

best trio in the history of gaming: V1, Doomguy, and Master Chief.
What or who is v1?
@@thelordofthelostbraincells V1 is the robot you play as in Ultrakill
@@RandomVs189 Ive never interacted with that game in any capacity.
What's it about?
Replace v1 with Samus then your right
@@thelordofthelostbraincells you go to hell and kill demons its pretty good and its not done yet
Imagine being the undefeated champion of the arena for generations, watching armies fall to your hand.
Then one green dude comes in and the entire audience starts chanting his theme song.
Underrated
Doom guy: "I'm not trapped in here with you. You're all trapped in here with MEEEE!!!"
I fought the Gladiator legitimately and he was not easy
Agreed
Still better than hell guards in 2016
Doom eternal was my first fast shooter and i did that shit on nightmare, it was not hard. I don't know what skill issue u guys have to think that this was a hard boss, the hardest boss for me was icon of sin because I would miss all my shots because he was so far away
@@heyu2395 see for me the icon of sin was easy compared to this boss. What the hell were you using on the icon of sin, a shotgun?

I never hear a soundtrack that make me feel more emotions than the DOOM ETERNAL soundtrack, bro, these songs makes me feel unstopable

It's all fun and games until you hear this banger

DOOMGUY: Hi.
That's funny how the 5:02 part is making me think how great it could be to have a Dune 1984 remix of it, with doom atmosphere ofc.
0:45 I love the little dodododododo from BFG Division
1:30 this part reminds me of the game over music from Mortal Kombat 4 and MK Gold.
the soundtrack has so much impact, but still feels like a match from hell
if you've seen Dune part 2, imagine the harkonen arena but bear handed and each punch has enough force to topple a fucking skyscraper and that's the vibe this track gives me
HOLY SHIT THIS IS BANGIN'
Yep "holy" is one word the other is demonic

This fight on UN almost broke me and here I am listening to it 😂
this is the first piece of music that comes to my mind when I think of really violent unstoppable anger like if a bully insulted your dead grandma or something
Or if said bully thought it would be funny to kick your dog/cat/pet
How can he keep bullying if there is none of him left?

This soundtrack is my go-to for late-night studying. It's like coffee for the brain, helping me stay awake as I struggle through integration problems for my upcoming exam.
When I first fought the gladiator I was stoned out of my mind with enhanced headphones on that made for a heart racing high intensity battle with this song just rattling my ears. The electronic sounds really synchronized with my high

Easily my favourite boss in the game. Not terribly difficult but he fought me straight on, I didn’t have to chase him down or take pot shots.
2:22 is crazy and it reminds me of agonizing screams of Arachnotrons
Imagine sending a very big demon with a hammer and a cursed shield to kill Doom Guy in arena just to get to see Doom Guy smash that demon head very hard and you just get blasted by a shotgun.
Hey, remember that one Hellknight you didn't kill in Doom II? Yeah he's back and he's pissed. Don't worry, he'll be wondering why he didn't retire to a log cabin in Hell soon enough.

Best track in the game, hands down.
