  • In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

Karol doesn't lie. She speaks from a deep well of integrity and intelligence. She tells us what she has experienced and how she understands that experience. She uses direct, simple, honest language that resonates in us like music. Her clear purpose is to benefit us. I trust her mentally and physically, don't you? Lesson learned. Great speaking.

What's great about listening to Karol, is that she embodies her message. She has a gift that all the speaking tips can't provide and that's presence. Her message of accessing the body's wisdom through listening with not only your heart, but your heart and in the very fiber of your being, is a vital universal theme that one needs to be continued to be reminded of and to drop into. Can you imagine where the world would be if people would just stop and honor the wisdom in their bodies. I loved it!

As a body/mind psychotherapist myself, Karol has hit the big points - on all cylinders. For those folks who have been in therapy for years and still feel they haven't made very much progress, Karol's eloquent description of how to connect mind and body should give one incentive to try a different approach. This one works!

Karol, another great talk with powerful personal stories and an important message. Our instincts never lie! I bet your mom's nice guy had a really "good personality".

As usual, Karol brings her winning combination of intelligence, warmth, compassion and humor to this presentation. Whether this is new news or old news for listeners, it is useful news for almost anyone who may KNOW the link between body and mind but doesn't regularly DO something with that knowledge. For any of us who have ever struggled with food, drink, or other ways in which we numb rather than listen to our feelings, Karol shows us the light. Brava, Karol!

Great example of how important body language is. As much as I love the power of a well spoken word, it does not tell the whole story, The body langauge or non-verbal communications never lie. Those folks you had an issue with could have said anything, yet their body language would have made words unnesessary.
I always enjoy your presentations, both the verbal and non-verbal delivery of your message.

I once knew I was going to get a job. I mean knew; even though there were about 10 people just in my field of view who were applying. Very odd phenomenon and there clearly is something to it. Nice job.

She took the longest route to say "body doesn't lie!!" Is this something she just discovered ? Or learned ? My sympathy to audiences.
