I am now putting out 2 songs per week. I will slow down to once a week after 3 months. At this point I barely have any streams. A record label hired me to remix some songs and they got 50-60k streams on spotify i didn't get paid but that was the deal but those remix audiences didn't translate to my own tracks. I do anywhere from 5-50 streams per track. Lost both my parents two years back. I'm kinda broke paying for their medical bills. But watching your videos gives me some hope that if i can keep at it maybe life will give me a chance. I can finally afford to have a child with my fiance. Thank you for the positivity brother
@@zillamode Well to be fair I can relate to the part of your story with the dog))) (my heart squeezed) and I definitely can relate to the feeling of being helpless))) I’m working two jobs at the moment one in school as a TA and other over the weekends as a chef and I only recently start uploading with DSP’s although I’ve been doing music for a quite some time now))) I think overall prospective to look at it as a hobby and have fun really make me to think of how I can change my attitude as well as expectations so it don’t affect me in a negative way))) I also would like to mention that your videos are really helpful as it gives us (viewers and musicians) really good prospective ))
sup bro, been watching your come up for a while now. what kind of CPA do you get when you run your ads? I cant seem to get mine below 1$ AUD (approx $0.65 USD). I work in advertising and have ran heaps of campaigns but seem to be stuck. Been running music ads for years now and still struggling. I see some less equipped artists get really lucky and generate 20-30c conversions but ic ant seem to hack it. I have tried multiple visuals, audio and just about every audience narrow or wide... No Bueno
Love the content about Spotify that you are making. Would be awesome if we collab doing some beats! Actually im with 55k+ Monthly Listeners! Cant find your email or something like that here.
Perhaps a TMI question, but the money bit of this video was what I saw as the most important part to me personally, I know it's a long game but I'm curious to how much you'd estimate you'd spent on marketing (ads + youtube reposts) over the course of your career. (Before it was finally profitable, and what you continue to spend) Thanks man I always really appreciate your transparency.
I probably put around 10k in over 2 years of pushing in different places but most of it was spent on duds honestly! Check out my videos on “my journey to one million”!
Great content, I watched all of your videos and it's been really helpful.
Just for reference that house was actually a garage at one point 😂 Sketchy neighborhood, but great memories
Hahaha uesss
Glad you were able to save your dog man, you hit me right in the feels with that. Another really helpful video
Thanks Daniel! Yeah I kind of got emotional thinking back about it! Feeling helpless like that.. never want to feel that way again!
Zilla Mode if you can maybe go over for a video of Too lost The distributor that would be dope super hard to find good info on it
I could find out more info on a bunch of more underground distributors!
