The guest guitarist is Pliego Villarreal (no relation), bassist of the Mexican band Kinky. He is playing a bajo quinto, A ten-string Mexican bass (five strings doubled).
@@prutgardin666 No he is not. He has the same last name and they do call him cousin. This is same way people call each other bro and are not brothers. He is a good family friend. I asked DPA this question and they confirmed it for me.
I believe the guitar the guy is playing is the bajo quinto (Spanish: "fifth bass") which has 10 strings in five double courses. Great reaction and Pau's vocals tend to always bring the emotion because of her amazing vibrato! Such a fantastic song! 🔥⚡
I agree , The Warning are going to be here for a long time to come. They are already scheduled to play at Wacken 2024. Guest guitarist Pliego Villarreal is , I believe , Dany's guitar teacher. Lovely ballad from the Error album. Kent's right, use mosquito spray the next time. Much better than itching all day. lol
This song proves without a doubt how versatile this band is. Each of the girls is a star in their own right and here, Pau has her opportunity to shine with just her voice, without the drums. Harmonies are impeccable and this is one of my favorite songs from them. As artists, they are all my favorites as each brings something different to the table. There is a video that has been responsible for turning a lot of people onto the warning. It is the 2018 TEDx talks performance. It is about 20 minutes but if you haven't done it, the best 20 minutes you've spent!
We can see that you're Team Pau right now by seeing the way you tied your hair today, Susan 🤣 They released the full show to the public yesterday, to celebrate the 1 year anniversary, and each song is of course also still available individually. There's another one sung by Pau, from behind her drumkit, it's called "23", and it's gorgeous... ua-cam.com/video/dq6k4v9i8kc/v-deo.htmlsi=F_NXxyBWgIjFMFva And another one, a little bit special, since it's a bonus track from the "Error" album, asked by the label, and recorded at home by Pau on her piano. She put the condition of never having to play it live, since it's too emotional for her. So they played it as an intermission song while the girls were changing outfits midset. Nobody on stage, the crowd waving their cellphone's lights, absolutely beautiful... It's called "Breathe" ua-cam.com/video/FGzD4PkhARk/v-deo.htmlsi=YfYIoRBrI9rwSLkc
"23" from this show, with Pau on vocals is the one to watch - my favourite off the album, with "Breathe" and "Revenant" not far behind...hmmm,all sung by Pau - been a Pau fan since day one and it hasnt changed - nothing wrong with having a favorite
My wife and I were lucky enough to see The Warning two weeks ago. It was a fun show that went by way too fast. Ale seemed a bit withdrawn throughout the show, but Dany and Pau are great performers that I could have watched all night. Hell, I really wanted to have brought my bass along so I could sit in with them.
You need to watch Pau sing 23 at this concert it's been dropped on their youtube page. It's insane how she sings and drums for that style of song. great reaction
Pau never ceases to amaze me with her talent, just wow! I felt it was a haunting song and it gave me goosebumps too, at the same moment it did so for you. I know they have a camera at the front of the stage but for some reason they seem to make very little use of it in post production. I wonder why that is. I miss the closeups. Loved the reaction! Say hi to Bonnie for me! ~Mike H.
*FYI Fun Facts:* *Revenant* footage is a combination of both (Saturday & Monday) shows at the Teatro. *23* (Pau singing lead while playing her drums) was shot during their Saturday (1st show) show. Since on their Monday show (2nd show). Ale's bass teacher, Pablo Gonzales, who also mentor all 3 sisters to write their own songs (what became the Escape the Mind EP). He played bass next to his not so small pupil. Basically, taking the limelight away from Pau's second time singing *23.* Everyone has picked their favorite Warning. I on the other hand have picked Rudy Joffery (manager) as my favorite Warning. He has managed this band without putting on additional pressure on the sisters that could've destroyed the band but the family as well. Rudy was the best person the Villarreal's hired. You saw that love & care that Rudy had for those girls when Rudy announced The Warning will be opening for Muse in Mexico (4 shows) affter a day of videoing promos.
The video is from the earlier show but at least some of the audio is from the Monday show. You can hear pablo's bass in some parts. Also on Revenant, the splaice in some video from each show. You can see the Dr SImi doll on Dany's lap in some shots but not others, Pau crosses her legs at one point then immediately in the next shot they aren't crossed. Also Pliego's shirt is different between the shots.
El album de error y sus temas inteligentes y sus temas llenos de sentimiento como ,REVENANT , hacen que The Warning muestren su gran capacidad de composicion, esta es la diferencia de TW con otras bandas,su volumen de composicion y todos temas excelentes

Please do not tell her I said this because I am scared of her even though I am 6'7" female and at least 70 lbs more than her but Pau is I believe only 4'10".
You got to do 23 from this show it’s amazing
Beautiful harmonies from the talented sisters. The song touches your heart deeply. ❤

@@Dave_Marks Okay, them calling him cousin made me actually believe them :/
Pau is a total rockstar and artist. She kills it every time, no matter what she's doing. A very rare talent.
Not that rare a talent, I can think of two others of a similar ilk.

Here the Villarreal sisters show they can write even a Beatles song.
Enjoyed that version. Need a recommendation for mosquito spray before the next ballgame? I’ll send you the DEETs.
Good one!
