In Fallout, society got stuck in a 1950s aesthetic, so there's a reason it has a weird feel. Vault dwellers are the descendants of the people that entered the vaults in 2077, so they only have 200+ years old knowledge. Walton G. plays The Ghoul, who survived the nuclear war in 2077 to the present, so he's VERY old, and has a unique perspective that could answer the Vault dweller's questions about what happened in the last 200 years, since he lived it.
Little tidbit; Getting "stuck" in the 1950's aesthetic was the result of a technological divergence. In the Fallout universe, the transistor was never invented. Which means no microprocessors. Which means vacuum tubes remained the primary and dominant method of electrical transmission and control.
What I've gleaned from all these dystopian futures, is that there will always be good shampoo. This does look very good though. Would you want to survive and apocalypse? No, me neither. Why? Um, it's an apocalypse.
"console game adaptation" technically not right, it started as a PC frachise and it being a game with shooter elements since Fallout 3 (even if not polished at all) and mod support since then, it is more like PC franchise. Multiplatform game series would be more accurate.

Shampoo … 😂
Looks brilliant. I immediately got Wandavision vibes too. Nice to see you Mark and Nanny Di, hope you all had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday 😊
I love her. She is so cute
Me too!
If your mom keeps her wits and cleverness as she's done so far, she'll live forever 🤘
I love mum 😭
Looks Good
Love Nanny Di
Happy Mother's Day 💐❤️
prediction: she'll return to the Vault at the end of the hero's journey,
and all her old peers will see what the wasteland can do to a gal!
If its like the games and the people in the vault are alive, They will probably shun her and not let her back in
Cant wait for this show
