I bought one earfün Air Pro 4, and I want to tell that I love it very very much. Price, Sound quality, Secure Wearing, app, noise cancelling, etc. All excellent for me.
Your mic test on Capsule 3 pro solved the annoying problem of unclear phone calls while on the bus/on the car, so now I can't wait for your whole review of Capsule 3 pro +, as microphones during phone calls sound great!
Great review. :) I don't have these, but I have the Earfun Wave Pros. I love them. If I ever need to buy in-ear earbuds, these will definitely be on my radar. :)
Thank you! They’re very comparable, IMHO. So this is going to be all about the details and nuances. If you prefer to hear a little more detail in the mids go with SoundPEATS. I want to say earfün has stronger base but when I listen to them both for comparison it really depends on a song. SpundPEATS are a little “sharper”, IMHO with faster fall-off. It’s so hard to decisively say which one is “better”.
Thanks for the review man! Really looking forward to your review of the Capsule 3 Pro; since I got the Engine 4's I'm a big Soundpeats believer. I would like to see if the Cap 3 Pro can go mono mode with ANC or Transparency, and if the ANC is better than their Air Pro 4 model.
I can already confirm they do not do that. They do go into mono mode automatically as soon as one earbud is put into the case but in terms od ANC modes they switch to NORMAL if you are using only one earbud and there is no way to put them into Transparency or ANC, neither by using the touch sensor nor the app.
Fyi guys even if you have an android phone make sure you have a SnapDragon Gen 1,2,3 or else the lossless wont work. Either way idk why i couldnt tell the diffrence between LDAC and Xapt lossless.
The Soundpeats, in your tests and in many other tests, seem to have very very good microphones in phone calls in noisy and windy environments, but strangely, in reality, from my personal experience, they are very average 🤷🏽♂️ In my experience, the best earbuds for phone calls are, the Huawei Freebuds Pro 3, Qcy Ht05 Melobuds and Earfun Air Pro 1 and Earfun Air S. Ps: apparently (I haven't personally tested them yet), the Qcy Ht08 Melobuds Pro would have the same phone call quality as the Ht05, if that's really the case, they are the best buy (value for money). 🙏🏽
@@thepolishpotato42 Absolutely, during phone calls, with all the Soundpeats I've tested, the ambient noise is certainly cut off, but also my voice, and all my interlocutors complain.

So what I really test is the quality of the mics and the earbuds ability to resolve our voice from the acoustic environment around us based on the mics input and their internal voice processing algorithms. What happens during actual phone calls is so complex it is virtually impossible to test consistently in the same exact conditions with only the input source changing (network strength, actual protocols used in a phone call, compression rates, voice over IP vs digital/analog phone network, etc. - there are too many variables to scientifically test it and have consistent, comparable results). At least what I do with all these earbuds is based on the same (or virtually very similar) conditions in each test and it is useful for the general purpose (IMHO).
All right so... my choice between the two would be earfün (even though I am a huge fan of SoundPEATS in general!). They sound fuller and have better kick in the low end, for sure. This may also be because these two are a bit of apples and oranges - you can't possibly create the same seal with eartipless earbuds as you will with nice, silicone eartips on earfün so - take that into consideration.
@@rolins3279 I haven’t tested them side by side, no… so I can go by what I remember (and it was a while ago when I last had the Liberty 4 NC in my ears). These were released just recently and the L4NC are now well over a year old but… now that you got me thinking about it I guess I have to run the comparison!

I love earfun but the soundpeats won the mic test... good job
Good showcase
Thanks!
In terms of sound quality & anc how do these compare to the soundpeats capsule 3 pro plus?
Amazing video as always !

@@thepolishpotato42 Ahh that's a bummer for the Soundpeats then, and a bonus point for the Earfun Air Pro 4 since I tend to use a single quite a bit.
Which Better Sound Quality, This or Earfun Free Pro 3

For ANC and mic quality in phone calls, these or the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC?
🙏🏽
Both are good but I would lean towards these.
