Good question, Krystal! I don't recommend throwing any costume with embellishment into a washing machine. Instead, you can hand wash it in a bath tub with cold water and gentle detergent. I show how to do that and other ways to clean costumes in the Belly Dance Costume Workshop mentioned in the video, but key is to test and make sure the color doesn't bleed in an inconspicuous part of the costume before you wash it!
