Thanks! This is great for early game! Also, if you do the mechanist quest right up to the point where you know where the lair is but DON'T go any further, you are routinely attacked by groups of fairly weak robots; and one of them routinely has one or 2 fusion cores when looted. The robots are a great source of other resources as well!
I used to wear Power Armor in previous games but even on harder difficulties, it's just too easy of a game. I still collect Power Armor but I don't use it. I'm currently 30 hours into my current game (0 Main Quests completed) and have 72 fusion cores and 1 Power Armor suit I only wore to take to my home base (didn't use a fusion core for it.) Some of these exploits are good use; this one just seems like it'd be easier to just find them at the places they typically respawn at. Or, if BoS is in the game everywhere, sneak up behind them and take their fusion cores and as an added bonus: that Power Armor suit is now forever yours. Just take it when no one's looking.
Honestly, after over 5000 hours playing this game, I've never needed to steal fusion cores. I find more than I need with one level in scrounger, and a two in Luck. I usually take up to rank 3 eventually, but even with one perk point, I have more than enough for my needs. On the rare times that I don't pick up what I need in containers, I can sell all the unused ammo that I pick up for weapons I don't use, and buy a few from a merchant. 98% of the time though I can pick up so many, that I have over a 100 by level 30. I also use power armor quite a bit, especially while building, so it's not like I'm stockpiling them. I just pick up quite a number of them from boxes. So unless you REALLY want to steal someone's worn items at Rank 4, you can just skip buying pickpocket, and put the points towards something more useful.
Yeah, I'm currently at lvl 56 and have played every minute in my powersuit. I have over 80 fusion cores. I was worried at first, but the game pretty much throws them at you if you're spending any time at all doing things other than just sticking to the main story path.
You can place turrets on top of eachother using wooden stairs, then place a piller or totem pole on top of rugs and move it inside the turret stack to make it look like a turret tower.
LoL. Cait took be OUT. To get her not to notice me I leveled up to Pickpocketing 2 and then ended up taking Perception drugs to boost me a bit more. I admit I did have glorious fun for a few moments there, when she was unleashing hell upon me, as other settlers joined in once I started shooting back. Then, when I shot a settler, she joined ME against them. After my my slo-mo body was bashed against a wall, falling like a ragdoll to the garage floor, I loaded my minutes-old Save and went off to accrue XP for my eventual leveling up, chuckling all the way.
Something seems a little too edited with your video, but it is what it is, you had a trader and a robot off in the background that sort of disappeared. but thanks anyhow.
I’ve only been playing FO4 for about a month. I am currently level 60ish. I have only paid for five Fusion Cores from vendors toward the first part of the game JUST to keep on hand as spares. I currently have 117 fully-charged Fusion Cores in my inventory. All but those first five came from just finding them around the map or receiving them as quest rewards. I use my armor often, so it’s not like I’m not burning them up. I absolutely am. BUT I’VE NEVER ONCE EVER done this method shown here because, to be perfectly honest, there’s absolutely NO reason to do it. If you’re running out of cores then you’re playing the game while unnecessarily wearing your armor too much. There are VERY few instances in the game where you REALLY REALLY need it. If we find that we need our armor THAT much, then you need to get better at the game.
I found the easiest fastest way to get anything when you need it after you have played the game over and over and over again and just want to have fun and not bother with searching everything, console commands!!!, they can get you anything you want in the game. (yes I am being sarcastic...kinda)
Huge hassle- just go to the airport and prydwin and pickpocket every knight in power armor. That way, it’s super easy to slaughter them all when you decide to eliminate the BoS.
Got caught stealing, just make a save before hand and retry. As i showed in the video when you have all the pickpocket and stealth perks it becomes much easier!
Both cheating for sure! But console commands cant be used on PS4/5 and mods cant be used if you want Playstation trophies so depends what device your on the method you would use.
Playstation brother no console commands also mods disable trophies so anybody who wants an easier time and trophies would need tricks such as these or others similar
I already had 31 fusion cores vibing from just actually playing but this being a recent exploit is insane.

Thanks for watching and I'll have to try that mechanist one!
Ohhh so that's why I'm constantly attacked by robots
You can also duplicate the cores.
Awesome. Never thought about that being a thing of all my years playing.

Fallout 4, the game you love to play because of the bugs and exploits :D
It just feels right in these games 🤣
Law of the wasteland
Not only will you have unlimited fusion cores but repeating this multiple times you can also get unlimited caps
True not a bad method for caps but there are faster for sure!

Way better than trying to steal them from the Brotherhood of Steel. Thank you!
Very welcome thanks for watching!
I knew about this glitch for a long time but completely forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.
Welcome! Thanks for watching!
Lol, cait killed me for pickpocketing
Caught pickpocketing now you die lol
Obviously you gotta stay [Hidden] while Pickpocketing, though.
If you’re [Detected] they will kill you.
Amazing, I have no reason to not wear power armor 24/7
Definitely handy. But I just completed the game for the first time and finished with 25 fusion cores.
@@joshbull6467 i haven't even gone to the institute yet and ive already got 105
I never saw a reason to wear power armor. I have at least 100 power cores stashed.
If you have ballistic weave you don't need power armor. In fact it makes the game too easy when you have no fear of death
Outside of the tutorial area I haven't worn powerarmor in my current play through. Currently over level 90
Cait body slammed me 😂 thanks for the help!!!❤
@@HaleyMiller-dj2pb damn🤣🤣 glad to help!
good stuff i kept wondering how i had 50 cores but hardly ever find them thought i just drink to much and forget.
My strat was pickpocket the BoS at the Boston airport. This is way quicker and easier.
Sweet. Thanks for sharing…!
I never really felt there was a lack of fusion cores in the game.
You can do the duplication glitch for the fusion Cores. Doubles every time ( With the conveyor belts)
Good on you for this one!! Nice hack!!!!
It just works! :D
Seems a little time consuming but you can't beat free cores. Best to use it for however many you need to get going

ThAnks for helping me get my comps into PA suits.
Going to try this with stealth boy equipped just incase 😅
Lol definitely a smart plan. Throw a save in there too
Dogmeat needs a power armor!
It just works!
Nice.
Is easier doing the money glitch and buying them, I got like 50 fusion cores in 10 min fast traveling to all stores.
Thanks
Welcome!
Noice
Damn thanx
Welcome!
Not sure if they patched this or not. Everytime I go hidden and undetected and pickpocket the fusion core she detects it and than tries to kill me.
Can happen if your pickpocket perk isnt used as it increases your chances. Definitely still works
Brilliant
Thanks for watching!

How do you get your PIP to display like that? Is that a setting or a mod?
