The last Vespa px200, this is crap

S1E1
Once again there is a Vespa px in the garage.
This will be the last one and the one I intend to keep.
It’s been neglected for many years and needs a lot of work to become a great bike again.
I will have this as a long going project and I will post all the things I do with the bike.
Help me decide what colour it should be.

Good to see another PX project, my preference is Black, but any colour for the restoration of these iconic scooters is good by me. I had to replace the gear selector box on mine recently as it was jumping out of gear! great fix.

Black is nice. Tomorrow will be the first proper test drive of the Vespa, maybe there will be a few surprises.

@@ballyhigh yes , when I split the engine next winter the gear selector cruciform will be changed along with bearings, oil seals and more.

It’s a ‘good’ one ok - needing a good lot of work 😊 I saw a PX painted in sky blue. It looked very smart. Good luck with the project!
