The early to late 60's full size 2-door hardtops are simply beautiful. The long flowing roofline that "fastbacks" into the quarter panel is unmatched in anything more modern.
Very good points about keeping the classics driven and well taken care of nobody mentions the amount of thought care and time it takes to properly own a heirloom. Seriously the older you get you appreciate the well thought out simplicity and class over show show boating.... occasionally;)
While I love Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers and basically all the cars from the Muscle Car era, it is nice to see a non muscle car that is done to this high performance level. Well Done!
Well, I am looking at the finest example of a 1967 Galaxy I have ever seen.....is there anything out there like this one.?. hmmm..probably not.... mighty fine indeed!
It simply amazes me the dedication and love for the Cali scene. Between the taxes, recent Newsom changes, I'da left YEARS ago! Good for yall for stickin it out and bringing the world content like this Shawn. Hang in there bud.
Unlimited number of old cars in California there's lots of them in folks garages that are just sitting waiting to hit the road once again, I work in a restoration shop, taxes, Newsom, I don't really care
@@AutotopiaLA- Same here Sean. I’m 68 and live up in the Central Valley. Have lived and worked here my entire life plus all of my family is still here. I also despise the politics and high cost of living. Living here in the valley makes it palatable as the Central Valley is still conservative overall.
I painted my 71 cutlass soul red 4 years ago and didn't see anyone with that color on an old school, but now I'm starting to see them out there. Really good color to go with on a classic. Nice ride!
Wow. When they opened that hood I was CRAZY impressed. What a fantastic and seamless theme transition for a seriously clean resto mod. Absolutely love the look of this car from essentially every possible angle. Excellent. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
This amazing build shows how beautiful the ‘67 Galaxy’s body lines really are. The stacked headlights look amazing (a nod to Pontiac’s of 60’s please). Gimme a ‘64 or ‘67 Galaxy 500 any time. Two of the best looking Fords from the 60’s.
I say first that am a chevy guy . But that Galaxie is over the top I love the fact that it's Settle changes and that it's a Reliable clean cruiser ❤❤❤🤓🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️🇺🇸🇺🇸😍
Drempt up that same dash swap also its incredible and stylish! One car I can see getting a stereo in thats a true cruiser INcredible...nice pick once again bud.
Very nicely done! Use to see lots of these cars up here in Canada in the '60's. That yellow early Vette on the upper right corner also looks very nice too.
I can't imagine the original designers would have ever thought these vehicles would be so stunning later in its life, to be so much more than even when it was new. Just beautiful art, i can't see me ever having something like that Id be nervous to drive it around here in the hill country of West Virginia and definitely not in the cities lol.
My Father gave me a 67 Galaxie (sorry, 4 door hardtop). I drove the hell out of it! Took it from Calif. to Florida, Drove it for years! Then put a "Grabber Blue" Laquer Paint Job! I used to fly Control line stunt and that car could hold my plane (60" wingspan) in the trunk!
I had a 67 2 door LTD 😊 great ride , perfect combination of styling and performance for an enjoyable experience and memories 👏👏👏 great episode 👍😉 Happy Motoring ✌️🤠🍻❤️
6:32 I want to see more about that yellow truck to the left if possible, I like the built truck videos a lot. Not that this car isn't beautiful it just really caught my eye.
I just subscribed because I have watch every episode and the amount of information you get is priceless. Besides, I can hand with the Host. My 66 Lemans is almost done. Not even close to what he shoots on videos, but it does the job for me.
I’ve long thought of what the theme of my car collection would be, IF I was Jay Leno ‘s son. Literally every make and model of a 1967 year car, and truck. The muscle cars were many things, exciting, competitive, innovative and the vibe was good! This an excellent example, although heavily modified, what a beauty!
Once again I'm not a red car guy but the color really works well on this car and I love the interior! Super clean and immaculate. Kent's got good taste.
I'm not really a Ford guy by nature but this Car is Awesome! I don't think you would expect this type of build from what was originally designed to be an Old Folk's Family Car. And what's wrong with putting that '59 Impala Dash in it? It fits nicely and doesn't distract from Ford's original concept. It's just different. It's Instrumentation layout is easy to read and it's sort of elegantly simple. It's Clean and Classy. Bravo Armando....that upholstery is over the top! Looks like it'd be comfortable to ride 2,500 miles in it anytime... Doesn't look like any Stone was left unturned....
My Father had a Galaxie 500 when he was about 23 or so. The only custom deal on it was the 8 Track Player underneath the Driver's Seat. Things have come a long way since the early 70's.
It bothered me. But!!! I must say, It is a fascinating car. Back in 1976 while in high school our dad bought a blue one that my sister and I went to school in. He sold it to one of his employees in 1978 and the guy wrapped it on a telephone pole three days later...devastating to see it the way it ended up.
Beautiful vehicle. Saw some photos and it was the dash that really caught my interest. Changing the layout in my 69 Ranger and a 60 Impala dash is one I have been looking at, before going completely in house.
Love the color. My first car was a 67 custom 500 4-door 289 automatic Blue paid $200.00 in 1975 from my mom. totally stock w/bench seat but I put on dual thrush mufflers. omg Loud.
Good job Shawn! No looking like you are in straight shock hoping not to get killed in one of those exciting hyper charged monsterous beast that you feature! 😄😬🏎️👍🥋
Awesome. Always loved the galaxy’s but personally I can’t get past that dash, does fit the square lines of the car. But to each his own and they did an awesome job of making it kinda fit in.
Nice to see the Galaxie getting some love.
Right? This only the 4th Galaxie we’ve shot because no one seems to mess with them
I have a 1965 4 door im building, hopefully I can get an episode for you guys at Autotopia LA!!👏
The early to late 60's full size 2-door hardtops are simply beautiful. The long flowing roofline that "fastbacks" into the quarter panel is unmatched in anything more modern.
If there was anyone that may have dreamed up a 67 Galaxy.... this color is Outta Site.....once again.....this is a 1 of a kind.....what a gem!
That Gal is a bloody beaut, In one word PERFECTION.
😎👍
Yes yes yes and utter yes! Low, great wheels, colors, I love stagged headlights! I love it!!!
Very good points about keeping the classics driven and well taken care of nobody mentions the amount of thought care and time it takes to properly own a heirloom. Seriously the older you get you appreciate the well thought out simplicity and class over show show boating.... occasionally;)
When it's done right, it's done right.

Have you seen the Ruffian Galaxie?
Pure Vision Steve Strope 700 horses... need I say more😅😅😅
It simply amazes me the dedication and love for the Cali scene. Between the taxes, recent Newsom changes, I'da left YEARS ago! Good for yall for stickin it out and bringing the world content like this Shawn. Hang in there bud.
Thanks. Hate our politics & taxes but sure love the weather & the automotive I’ve community. Plus my whole family is here

Im too broke to leave.

I've never had such a great must have feeling ever as I have of this car here. This was America at its best, and that era is definitely over, for now.
Stunning, Badass Galaxie very clean.
best looking car in the world , wow .
WOW, she is gorgeous
Wow. When they opened that hood I was CRAZY impressed. What a fantastic and seamless theme transition for a seriously clean resto mod. Absolutely love the look of this car from essentially every possible angle. Excellent. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
What a clean build! Great stance, great color and so well finished.
This thing is next level..so clean

Autotopia vids make my weekend.
Gorgeous. The headlight design was always a fave. Amazing build!
Never been a ford guy but I’d drive that sucker anywhere, so smooth looking 👍🏼

Another home run! A great ride!
Coyote engines are no joke
Nope and it sure looks good in here
Drempt up that same dash swap also its incredible and stylish! One car I can see getting a stereo in thats a true cruiser
INcredible...nice pick once again bud.
Probably the best looking Ford on the planet. Everything on this car is EXACTLY as it should be
Galaxie vermelho a cor do amor... Puro sangue.. que carro incrível!! Parabéns belo vídeo.
Nicest muscle car ever on this show 👌🏽. No comparison, the stance, colour, shape… everything.
It really is everything you want in a custom build
Some people are gifted in building beautiful cars. The owner of this car will be so lucky.
Big cars&long bed Pickups, the best!
That is without a doubt the nicest 67 galaxie I have ever seen. What a fantastic build.
Very nicely done! Use to see lots of these cars up here in Canada in the '60's. That yellow early Vette on the upper right corner also looks very nice too.
That Chevy dash blew me away! You feel like you're in a Chevy and get out and you see Ford! I love it!
Sean, I am beginning to think you are a habitual rule breaker...and that is awesome man!

Just beautiful art, i can't see me ever having something like that Id be nervous to drive it around here in the hill country of West Virginia and definitely not in the cities lol.
Funny thing is it drives like a car. No weird tricks, rattles, etc. Such a beautiful well done build!
@@AutotopiaLA oh I figure I'd drives great it's other drivers I don't trust.
Keep peeping that yellow c1 vette on the lift
Lots to look at in their shop
I had either a 68 or 65, can't remember for sure, white, 6 cylinder two door that was an absolute joy to drive. Auto on the column.
Grandfather had a 65 Galaxie 500 XL cali car, 352 auto trans, AC, 2 door. A very solid nice quiet crusier. This is a great example, clean and smooth.
Beautiful car. I was never really a Ford guy in my youth, but these mid to late sixties Galaxies and Fairlanes are really growing on me.
My Father gave me a 67 Galaxie (sorry, 4 door hardtop). I drove the hell out of it! Took it from Calif. to Florida, Drove it for years! Then put a "Grabber Blue" Laquer Paint Job!
I used to fly Control line stunt and that car could hold my plane (60" wingspan) in the trunk!
im a ford guy , i love the dash . what a sweet car!!!!
THAT is super cool.

@@AutotopiaLA great.
Beautiful FORD one of my favorite body styles!

That’s a gorgeous car
when u test drive, there are simple rules: rule #1 - dont mistreat her, rule #2 - dont give her back broken. that goes for the car as well.... :D
lol.

Really a stunning car and I love that color. Especially when the sun hits it!
Not throwing any shadow on this car it was a great episode, please do a feature on the yellow pickup , it was an iconic build back in the day!
That's a real beauty! Where do I apply to help with keeping the collection exorcised?
man that 67 k20 in the background looks cherry this car is perfect too

That is one sweet galaxie. Great content. I like seeing the mild to wild builds.
Love the color.

Hi Sean..my first car was a 67 Galaxie 500...blue with a white top. That 390 would scream!
Absolutely beautiful tuff and sweet ❤🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇳🇿🤝🇺🇲🇺🇲😊😎👍
Beautiful ride, always wanted a 67 Galaxy.
If I could quit driving truck and build cars like this without having to worry about finances, I would do it in a heartbeat.
Very beautiful Galaxie!
Love the dash
