- After the withdrawal of the Rs 2000 notes, many people have been speculating that RBI will also be withdrawing the Rs 500 notes to reintroduce a newer form of the notes, and it might also reintroduce the Rs 1000 notes, which were banned during the 2016 demonetization. All the currency notes of all denominations except small ones like 5,10,50 and 100 should be withdrawn from circulation. After a few years even all denominations can be taken out of circulation by introducing only electric mode of transactions since even now small petty shops are using Bhim, Rpay, Gpay etc. Then how can hoarding of currency notes be done? It is high time to get accustomed for such vital method of payments to put an end for such mafiya golmal etc.
