HUZZAH!! We travel back in time and explore the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Bristol, Wisconsin. We look through several popular shops and try some of the great food at the Faire! If you are looking for things to do near Chicago or Milwaukee, I highly recommend spending a day here. Adventure is out there!

I watch an embarrassing amount of Ren faire content. None of them focus as much on the food as you guys did. Y'all are doing the lord's work. Thank you

One spot that good to sit is the Pig & Whistle Tavern. It's close to the food area. If someone is performing, you have entertainment. If no one is performing, you have room. Win win.

What a cool job! I always thought it would be fun. I will say though… some of the costumes look like they would be quite warm!!

We go about every year and have a good time! Something I didn’t show in the video, but will in my next renn faire video, is the shows. There are a lot of fun shows going on throughout the day so make sure you catch some of those!
I love this Faire, try to go every year with my kids. Never enough time in a day to enjoy everything that there is to see. I have never seen the mushroom or English toffee vendors. What side of the Faire are they on?
Yeah, I agree. Can’t do everything in one day. Makes it fun to be able to keep going back year after year. The mushroom place and pemberton candies are near the ‘Farnham Way’ section of the faire. From the entrance hang right.
So few dressed up.
Yeah. I really wished that they had this renn faire in the fall, not just the summer. It generally is so hot at this renn faire, I couldn’t imagine dressing up. This day that we went we were lucky with the nice weather.
@@JourneywithJLove I hear ya. You don't want it to rain but you don't want 100 with 90% humidity.
@@JourneywithJLove Was thinking much the same. But whenever I go, there are always a lot of costumers (even in the excessive heat). Last year there was a fellow in full knight suit of armor when we attended. Don't know how he managed to make it through the day walking around in essentially a steel cage.
There are always some dedicated fans dressing up in the heat. I do always look forward to seeing the costumes.

I am soo with you on the texture of mushrooms. Can't get past the spongy, earthy feel of it. Love the taste of mushrooms though in soups, stews, broths...
Yeah. The flavor of mushrooms really is nice! Texture is the worst!
