- We have a unique and exciting tubing adventure on the hawaiian island of Kauai with the company Kauai Backcountry adventures. We went tubing through the mountains in Kauai and floated through tunnels and along channels. This was definitely a bucket list adventure. We vist Kauai Brewery for drinks and an appetizer. We also have shave ice at JoJo's Shave ice. We then head to Poipu Beach to watch the sunset and watch the sea turtles come to shore! After our tubing adventure we checked out a nearby waterfall called Wailua falls. Adventure is out there!

What protection did you use for your iPhone to keep dry?
I have an iphone, but I left it in my backpack so it did no go with me on the tubing adventure. I filmed this video on a GoPro mounted on a float handle with a wrist strap. Jesse has a pixel phone and he brought his phone in his zippered pocket of his swim trunks. He put his phone in a zip lock bag and that worked fine for him.
how deep is the water my wife cant swim ... and I am not that good at swimming
The water is very shallow! Never more than a few feet deep.
How far is this place to get to from the airport?
Hi there! I would estimate about 15 minutes from the airport. You then take a 15 minute shuttle with your group to the tube launch area.

Oh and the water shoes are from Amazon! They were perfect for the tubing excursion. I bought those shoes a few years ago.
