Hello, You can find it here - support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/surface-go-or-surface-go-2-turns-on-and-shows-no-bootable-device-5348cd7c-b417-4384-aad1-6d7db2642a9b
I have a Surface Go. I am experiencing the "No Bootable Device" message. My device DOES boot from a USB Windows drive and the power cord is fine. However, when I use the official and latest firmware flash files from Microsoft, my device NEVER shows the "Please wait while we install a system update message". Instead, my device shows a blinking cursor in the upper left corner of the screen. I left it on for 12 hours, but, the firmware flash update never happens. The device will boot properly when a Windows installation USB is inserted and it will boot when a Windows repair USB drive is inserted. However, it simply will not install the firmware upgrade when I insert the official firmware update files from Microsoft. Reinstalling Windows does not solve the problem because the firmware needs to be flashed with the update and the update will not install as described above. Do you have any recommendations?
@@PhoneSpecificationsUSA Make sure that your device is a 1824! if not 1824 then this steps / firmware do not apply to your device. This update is technically not a "system update" it's just a Bios Update for the SSD Chip EFI. If the problems persist then : The Bios Chip has a bug/glitch, very hard to repair you have to open the device and reprogram/resolder it. Hope it helps
@@platineshop Thanks for the reply. The firmware update, that I am using, is SPECIFIC for my Surface Go. I am not using the 1824 update. The firmware update, for the Surface Go, came straight from Microsoft. The update is suppose to work exactly the same as it does for your 1824. I don't know why its not working. Everything else works fine with this Surface Go device.
@blake3853 use this guide-through make sure to follow every step. it should not show any command prompt if you follow this steps. support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/surface-go-or-surface-go-2-turns-on-and-shows-no-bootable-device-5348cd7c-b417-4384-aad1-6d7db2642a9b
