While I agree that this song is best left to Neil Young, I must say that this woman has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, and she did sing this beautifully. I'm sure she could sing a phone book and make it sound incredible.

Neils version is awesome and a hard line drawn however in this one Marie gives me the shivers, she puts her soul into it. Read about her and you will see the pain she brings to it. Excellent song well presented.
I think she nailed it in terms of emotion. A lot of artists who cover this really don't put the right feeling into it, and it doesn't sound the way it should. Good cover.

But Marie is definitely not an amateur singer. I doubt anyone could sing songs like So Far Away or Listen To Your Heart the way she did it.

However, she delivers a perfect performance, not tecnically but emotionally. And as hard as I find this to say, and as much as I love J. Cash, this version is better and more devoted to the original.
