    Today I’m taking my 80cc Rieju RR for the first test ride, the carburetor is not configured yet and the cylinder is brand new so I won’t push on it but I still think it turned out to be an interesting video to see the first ride with 80cc tuned moped.

    Idag tar jag första provturen med min hyper drac, den är inte 100% inställd och cylinder behövs köras in då den är helt ny så kommer inte maxa den men tyckte det blev en bra video ändå som jag tror många kommer uppskatta att se den här trimmade moppen köra och den är även tillsalu då jag vill börja stunta och göra lite 50cc moped stunting videos igen

    Yo bro i was reading the comments and i saw that people were saying things about the engine braking and talking and stuff but dude ur fkn amazing keep it up bro i really enjoy ur vids and they are just perfect and oh yea before i forget you didn't engine brake like once so yea they are just jalouse at the bike.     It's quite a posh bike, so I really like it that you just take it on the dirt roads instead of just keeping it in the barn "because else it would get dirty"

    What jets are you running? I have a aprilla rx 50 supermoto with a 80cc BBK. I'm tuning my jest and it runs crap on a 105 main jet and runs a little better on a 95. What your opinion. It runs rich and it's on a 19mm carb

      I had a 148 main jet in my 26 pwk maybe. a little to big big it ran decent

      put a smaller jet and then try to put the choke on. when it goes better with choke it needs a bigger jet

      I find a cheap bike so I never know what I'm going to get until it appears for sale and then I plan the build and find parts for it

    Well, you are pretty correct about what you said. I have spent way too much time and money into my yamaha dt 50 mx2, that I can't really do any stunts with it...

      Sanded them down and then polished them with a buffing wheel and buffing wax that my dad had laying around

    What paint do you use? From which brand

      Alfa Romeos version of candy red, basically the same, I forgot the code but it's almost the exact same ingredients :)
      Layers
      1. Good Primer
      2. 1 Component Metallic Car paint
      3. 2 Component Clear Coat made to work with the paint.

      I'm currently running with 13/48 I feel like that's a balanced gearing for 80cc so you have both top speed and acceleration

    The break in is going to take way more time with 4% oil. Just use normal amount 2-3%

      Maybe it will take longer but I want to run 4% until i know the carburetor is dialed in perfectly

    Check the sparkplug and check if its running way too rich

      Because I'm only riding on a short stretch of road when I'm just acceleration you can't look at the sparkplug you need to go a longer distance

      Yee yeah but the short period when you let go of the gas, the slide is completely shut so its still in high rpm but cant get any fuel/air mixture

      @@Bidalotroxi yes but theres still gas left in the cylinder for a small amount of time, it only starts to cause damage to the engine when you're doing it for long. And from what I heard he doesn't let go of the throttle enough for the engine brake to actually kick in

      I wasn't engine braking I was giving a tiny bit of throttle and then when I let of completely then I pulled in the clutch you can see that in a few clips

      Nah, its such a small cylinder and it cools down quite easily so the stock single radiator is fine.

      Also 2 strokes run cooler than 4 strokes because each cycle/charge cools it down.

      @@SNTMoto got a single peugeot xps radiator on my bike and it work just fine raced it in endurance racing 3hr straight race on gokart tracks.
      so to me it feels lot of overkill to go dual radiator on a bike that is used casually on street and in dragrace.

    Du borde varva ur den där mer för o se om den går helt rent men den verkade gå ganska rent efter du fixade med nålen men fortsätt kör o kolla stiftet och testa hur den går med mindre munstycke osv, Du borde köra 98 det mår cyllen bättre av och typ 3-3.5% olja

    I mean isn't breaking in a myth at this point? I know it's a huge debate, but I don't think you need to break in the bike for hundreds of kilometers honestly. Specially if you have a solid bottom end with a good crankshaft. Top end replacement is not that expensive, if you take proper care of it it should last you a long time regardless if you break it in like a grandma or not.

      On cast iron cylinders you need to give the Pistons rings time to adapt to the cylinder because if not it can seize you cylinder but on aluminum cylinders you can brake it in just letting it idle

      Posin I thought the top speed of the yz 85 was arround 60 mph, correct me if im wrong, but it does not sound right that you can powerwheelie a bike at max speed, right?

    Only drive with 3% oil when your braking it in, 4% is to much that could damage the engine

      I'm pretty sure 4% won't damage the engine but I'm missing out on potential power with a high oil mixture but I want to run 4% until the carburetor is dialed in perfectly

      SNT Moto well just watch out since oil gets really hot and when you have so high mixture your cylinder can get really hot. And in worst case damage the cylinder. I’m doing 3% and it’s working fine for braking in with :)

      With 4% mix, engine brake does nothing to that engine, and even with 2% its very very very hard to break thw engine with engine brake....

      I didn't engine brake in this video I pulled in the clutch when I let of throttle and most of the time I gave tiny bit of throttle so it would get enough to be lubricated

    2.5% would be good, i use 2% at normal drive that 4% is waay too much what there should need

      but he runs 4% now to not risk anything while breaking the engine in. better more oil than less.

      When you start it I've to give it a few revs because if not it will die but then I have it idling for a few minutes before I rev it more and go for a ride

      Haha tbh I can't remember what happened to the kickstand but it has a lowpass exhaust so It can use a normal bike lift when I work on it therefore i had that swingarm stand

      SNT Moto Oh, it’s alot of fun with a inner rotor though. Maybe mvt premium or italkit. I got a Airsal 88 engine with mvt premium and koso 32.

      Bro I didn't engine brake I was still giving a little bit of throttle I pulled in the clutch when I wasn't giving throttle I've learnt

      Yes I do agree with that, the only time I have had damge due to engine braking was when my carb was horrible tuned and I've been riding mopeds for over 2 years and always engined braked but I've started to avoid it just to be safe

      No it's a brand new cast iron cylinder so you need to brake it in before you can test the top speed and cast-iron cylinder brakein takes way longer than aluminium
