And Jimin sang that high notes with his chest voice. You should hear him go to falsetto. Jimin is a natural counter tenor, which is about that same range as a female soprano. I am female and I have a hard time hitting some of the notes the BTS members can hit.

Thank you. If you are interested you can watch Jimin's killing voice compilation. Since debut Jimin has been carrying the high notes without much training but now most of the vocalists can do high notes esp Jin (crystal snow) but not like Jimin who can do it effortlessly. Notable high notes for Jungkook is in ON (in live he had to lower it a bit) and for Taehyung in Stigma (he said he'd never do it again because it was hard on his throat. He is naturally a baritone). Because of Jimin rest of the 3 vocalists had to practise high notes too.
Lol what a sad comment. Jungkook and Jin are easily the most stable vocalists of BTS and Jin has by far the largest range (highest and lowest stable notes). All four are amazing vocalist, but putting the rest down to convince yourself that Jimin is somehow far beyond the rest is wild. Get out of that imaginary land.
If you truly want to act like Jimin does high notes less effortlessly then Jin go watch any Magic Shop performance. Jin hits the chorus perfectly everytime, while Jimin hits it but struggles to maintain the note.
The reason high notes sound good when Jimin sings them is because he generally has a higher range than the others. Jin & Jungkook have a wider range and Taehyung has a lower range. Jimin’s vocal range is just higher, listen to the music, it’s not hard to tell.

This song was inspired by a legend created in northern Italy, called "la cittá di smeraldo", which portrays a story based on the fictional smeraldo plant. The meaning of this flower is "a truth that cannot be told." This legend tells the story of a man who lived hidden and isolated from everyone in a tower, as his appearance was horrible and monstrous, causing him to hide. The only thing that made him happy was his Smeraldo flower garden, which he cultivated with so much love. One day, a poor woman in old clothes appeared in her yard and began stealing all the flowers that were there. He was irritated, but the woman appeared in his garden every day to collect them. So he decided to wear a MASK to go out into the city and find out what the girl did with the flowers. Until he discovered that she, being very poor, sold them to have something to eat. But, instead of showing up and allowing her to pick the flowers, the man went to his garden to discover new ways to make the plants more beautiful and in greater numbers, so that the woman could earn money and, when the flowers finally bloomed, the woman didn't come back. This is because, without enough money selling them, he died of hunger. And with this song, BTS tells us that if the man had loved himself and not hidden behind masks, the girl's fate could have been different. And this happens to us who often wear "masks" or a socially acceptable face to hide our 'true self' and not be judged. In other words, the truth untold tells us: Love yourself and don't hide behind a mask. The song can be interpreted as a reflection on the insecurity and loneliness that often accompanies unrequited love or the fear of opening up to another person. The use of masks, mentioned in the lyrics, symbolizes the barriers that people create to protect themselves from being harmed🇧🇷💜

This is such a beautiful song. Love the vocal line. The deeper you go you will continue to find the same truth, how talented they are, individual and as a group. It is endless, hence the rabbit hole, it's just not the falling, traveling down the hole it is what you encounter once in the rabbit hole. 2 years later and almost daily if I am learning something new.

💜The Truth Untold - this is how they conceptualised the song: They created a very old and sad story called, 'La Città di Smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy ( in the 16th Century -1500's). The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone, even though he was a gentle good person, because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Eventually if anyone tried to approach him, he covered his deformed face with a mask and hid in fear, ...So he became bitter and angry. His one happiness in life was to plant beautiful flowers in his walled off garden.
One night a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell asleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. Without realizing he started waiting for her to come and each day began to seem a little brighter.
Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to try to make a living. The man falling in love so desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks if he approached her. He 'knew' she would never be able love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to keep himself hidden and let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to create the flower in his castle.
After many unsuccessful attempts, the man created the most beautiful of all flowers (The Smeraldo Flower) and filled his garden with these beautiful flowers. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came back to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had starved to death before he could give her the flower that would have saved her. If only he had been brave enough to approach her😭
The smeraldo flower plays a part in the Bangtan Universe storyline, and you will see it in various MVs.
The Smeraldo flower symbolizes the sincerity that could not be delivered.
The moral of the story, as interpreted by BTS, is that people are entrapped in the depths of misery and darkness due to a lack of self-love and confidence. The protagonist would have probably felt much better, had he talked to her and confronted his fears and insecurities. In addition, another aspect is the way people are affected by childhood trauma and dysfunctional families. The man was highly affected by his childhood trauma caused by nasty comments made by people.

The first one that sang was Jungkook (also known as JK or Kookie) and he is known for his perfect pitch. When they are in the studio and after all of the members have recorded their part Jungkook is sent in to record his part and harmonize with the rest of the members. It's these types of songs that really show off the vocal lines talents. They are all amazing!!! Now you know why we wanted you to react to this.

Yes. You are correct. Their harmony is "smooth like butter". My opinion. They are the very best at harmonizing of any K-pop group. They literally melt me. And again, Mr. Bang, had no idea he picked the perfect vocal line! He got lucky. The stars aligned. It's a God thing. So I'll keep repeating one of their best harmony songs is a cover song. The MTV performance of Coldplay's "Fix You". Does anyone else agree??? I feel it is their best harmony to date. Or how about V's song "Blue and Grey". Another MTV performance. What's so great...now that we know your style we can pick songs more specific to your taste. However, you'll have to break down and watch the Big Songs someday. "Fire". "Not Today". "Fake Love".
