Yup. Exactly the 1st thing that instantly jumped out To me also. Or they just can’t even get to Him in there. But even in that case He better not get out then. Ehh
The answer to Ted’s question is this, without the proper guidance and discipline growing up, especially in your youth years, it can shape you for the rest of your life. That doesn’t mean that people who were raised properly won’t eventually end up committing crimes and end up in prison but the chances are drastically reduced. Law enforcement and the prison system is a business and those who profit from being involved in the business aspect of it have no intention on losing business, it’s no different than the weapons manufacturing industry, those involved want violence and war because without it they wouldn’t profit. So if we really want to fix the the problems we need to get to the root which drives them and allows them to persist, locking people in cages obviously isn’t fixing the problem it’s making it worse, if it was working we wouldn’t be building so many prisons and manufacturing so many instruments of death, we need to see the forest through the trees to truly fix these issues.
They really showed a man getting stabbed to death on tv lol wtf. And crazy how the officers just watched, imagine being that guy getting stabbed and feeling so hopeless
What do you want them to do, those guys would kill those officers if they had chance……..they are in there for a reason and these prisons run short staff all the time, but I agree it is sad…
prison is full of lifers who became intelligent disciplined men... AFTER they threw it all away. goes to show the benefit of structure. because in there it's either you build your daily structure or go insane.
I was in a gang from the age of 8, we would knock on people's doors and run away and sometimes steal bottles of milk from people's doorstep. I got out at the age of 10, but still look back at those lawless years
Amazing blast from the past. Imagine only 2 recognized prison gangs. Boy were they wrong. Today in the American Prison System there are upwards of 30 recognized, organized gangs. The warden would have to have 90% of people in isolation, if this procedure was still flowed. Things change, but people keep doing the same dumb stuff over and over. God Bless, prison is horrible. Wouldn't let a dog live like that. Not rehabilitating anyone....
They picked him for a reason... We ain't like that we keep clean we keep ourselves clean... And anybody who says different hasn't done a lot of time on a real unit... The maytes are the dirty ones . 4:06 I didn't even realize they already had this type of cage barriers where prisoners could interact but it adds a layer of security. They were showing a prison guard in Arizona was brutally attacked by 3 prisoners recently in the open area where the prisoners hang out during the day. they need to have more of these barriers to prevent attacks and also exchanges of contraband. so instead of having solitary confinement isolation, at least with the cage barriers they can come out of their cell and interact.
