    For a reusable mold that is much faster to set up and strip, the short sides should be fixed in place to the bottom board. The longer sides attach to the bottom board with hinges. A simple clasp at the top of the long boards to secure to the fixed short boards... When the gelatin has set, release the clasps and the long side boards swing down to release the mold. It works great...

    I have one and it seems to work well, however this video intentionally shows 1 semi major flaw- lack of an organizer case that many competitors offer. Did you see him pull out of the bag a bunch of tangled thingies? I ended up buying some generic brand case off of Amazon for $20- plan on spending that or messing w the mess. Also. Propietary charger vs USB-c like it should be.

    I own an Excalibur with open sights. Most of my shots were in the X ring but not as consistent as I wanted. I purchased custom made arrows from Borkholder Archery. Their shafts are balanced. Now very shot actually hits the X. It is so accurate that I must shoot 5-spot targets to avoid destroying the arrows. Excalibur is very simple, and with Borkholder arrows the accuracy is almost unbelievable.

    My Assassin crank takes 11 revolutions of the crank to fully cock it. Your video showed the Ten Point took TWENTY EIGHT LOUD revolutions. NO THANK YOU. One other benefit of changing your own strings with Excalibur's is that when my serving starts to wear, and every high speed crossbow serving string WILL wear, is that I can take the string off myself, and I FLIP THE STRING OVER on re-installation, so I use the formerly topside unworn part of the serving, and put that side DOWN on the shooting rail, therefore doubling the string life. Try THAT with a cam crossbow! Yes these are two different price point crossbows, and the best one is the one that gets your deer down quickly. I'm sure the budget minded hunter could to well with many cheaper units, but I sure do love my Excalibur!

    • @kurtglo

      This is exactly why I don't own any crossbows with cams- I'm tired of cable wear and not having a press to change the s&c out. Excalibur's are remarkable.

    Well definitely not here to talk bad about the excalibur bows. I can only speak about my 10 point stealth ss it's coming up on 10 yrs old now , its slow compared to todays standards (345 fps), I have hunted with it steady since I bought it back in 2014, have taken numerous deer, one of by biggest bucks to date, multiple hogs, and several turkey. And have never had a single issue with it ever . Have hunted in sub freezing temps , no problem. Have only needed to change the string 1 time , I keep the bow clean wax the string, all is well.. Having said that, I sure like the excalibur bows, I may have to have one.

    the simplicity of the excalibur settled it all for me. i can do EVERYTHING myself with no special equipment-standard tools and a ratchet strap and i can do it all. the deer i have killed with it never even had time to react- and i have one of the slower ones 340TD. i think too many people get hung up on speed numbers. i actually run a heavier bolt and that absorbs a lot of the shock and saves the limbs. and like i said, the bolt is through the deer before they have time to react....so any more speed would be wasted.

    • @badbloodoutdoors1874

    • @badbloodoutdoors1874
      @badbloodoutdoors1874 6 місяців тому

      The Tenpoint Titan M1 can be gotten for under $1000. I’ve shot a number of deer in the 3 years that I’ve had it and the only problem I had was due to user error (I made a video about it). The excaliburs are a bit pricier (also made a video about this). You can get a crossbow that’ll kill a deer for even cheaper, but generally you get what you pay for regarding reliability and overall quality of construction. Either way Good Luck!!!

    • @badbloodoutdoors1874
      @badbloodoutdoors1874 6 місяців тому

      Here are the password instructions from the user manual: 1. Enter zero (0) six times. (You will hear a double beep, indicating program mode.) 2. Enter your existing six (6) digit combination one time. (You will hear a double beep.) 3. Enter your NEW six (6) digit combination (You will hear a double beep) 4. Enter your new six (6) digit combination again 5. Wait approximately 10 seconds and then enter your new combination, and then rotate the handle to open the safe door. 5. Test lock operation several times before closing the door. If safe will not open, the procedure was incorrectly executed and the combination is still 1-2-3-4-5-6. Leave the door open and begin with Step 2. Entering in the wrong code will result in 4 beeps. Entering the wrong code 3 times will result in the keypad shutting down for a 5-minute timeout. The battery must remain connected. Removing the battery will not override the timeout period. CAUTION: When selecting a combination do not use birthday or other predictable data that could be easy to guess for unauthorized safe entry. Store your new lock combination in a safe place OTHER THAN INSIDE YOUR SAFE. CHANGING YOUR PERSONAL COMBINATION IN THE FUTURE You can reset your 6-digit combination at any time you choose. Please follow the SETTING YOUR PERSONAL COMBINATION instructions shown above. You will have to use your personal combination (rather than 1-2-3-4-5-6) as the existing combination. All other steps are the same.
