So I have the same motor, just learning how to work on an outboard and found your video. My trim and tilt makes noise but there is no fluid. I turned the side screw counter clockwise, but I can’t for the life of me find out how to lift the motor. It seems like it is stuck on something. Is there a trick to manually raising it? Thanks so much for the videos, I am following!

What did you hook the red wire to when checking for spark? I saw you clip it onto the plug, but what did you hook the other end of jumper to?
