You are a hard worker! Nice job. Reminds me of some crazy things I did back in the day. Some people looked at me sideways through it, but I got it done. What is that track that is playing at around 4:36?
@@tjdinfl thank you! thank you! It was a lot of work but totally worth it. The song is. As if you cared. By Johnny Lithman. I believe it how you spell his name. Pretty good tune one of my favorites! And don’t worry, a lot of people look at me sideways too haha
Looks great. Best of luck with the bbq business. Can’t wait to see some cooking videos. From one solo fabricator to another. I feel your pain on moving and lifting things all by yourself.
Thanks! Yea it SUCKS!! But you do what you got to do haha. Hope to get back to more cooking soon. Thanks for checking out the channel! And good luck to you as well.
@@Mauriceandcarolyn absolutely love the way that the firebox performs on both ends the way it pulls air in and the way it pushes in to the cooker. The two things I would adjust when I built the firebox I accidentally tilted it a little bit forward which means the very end of the firebox, where it pulls in air at the door is tilted down, which allows smoke to pour out when you open the door really hate that! And it does lose a lot of heat from the bottom of the box, but I’m just gonna order some fire brick off of Amazon and line the bottom and I think that will take care of that issue.
Yea been super busy on it haven’t been able to keep up with all the video and editing it’s got the stack and everything on it now we have done 3 burnouts it is so far and it runs super good! I hope to have another video coming out here hopefully within a couple of weeks! Thanks for checking out the channel
Man your previous vlog reminded me of my self , I had the same issue with the doors and the collector 😅, one thing I would suggest is doing at least semi-isolated fire box , everyone that I’ve spoken too that runs a big smoker alway complains about wood consumption of a big smoker , at least to my experience, I’ll save you money on cords of wood on the long run
Yeah, both ends gave me a good run for my money haha! Definitely probably not a bad idea thought about putting fire brick in the bottom of it to semi insulate it to see how well it does. We’ve burn it out three times now and it does consume a lot of wood! So thank you for let me know that I really appreciate it. And thanks for checking out the channel super cool to be get to talk with so many people and hear different ideas it’s been a big help!
Nice to see someone trying, but it didn't work out rite. I've have better luck with the fire box totally under the meat box. Putting plate under the meat grill 3 to 4 inches almost the lenght of meat box, that way the smoke rolls from one end to the other. Smoke stack on opposite end of meat rack door (opening) can control heat on outlet, with lots of smoke. This is my findings of a few builds (8). Just my suggestion not gospel. Good luck, happy smoking.
@@nacbowie9623 I know!! We had a lot of issues with sound/ music. Here coming up probably gonna do an in-depth dive into how we built the smoker. I’ve had quite a few request for this! Thanks for checking out our channel and sharing your feedback means a lot you us.

Really nice video. One of the best that I’ve seen with meeting 2 round ends. Will have to give this a try for sure. Thank you
Thank you I really appreciate that! The round ends are not a lot of fun but, it runs sooo good. Good luck and thanks for checking out our channel.
How has the firebox worked since completing the project? Have you had any issues regulating temperature? Any changes you would make to a round end?

I really wanted to see and HEAR what you did on this smoker. BUT, the music was too loud for me to understand what you were saying.

Your music is to loud, it's hard to understand you
Yea in a couple of the videos, I’m still learn and how to edit and couldn’t get the voice and sound volumes quite right!
