Nowadays, it’s best to plan on paying your portion or half of the bill when you’re going on a first date. If both of you are completely different then there won’t be another date and no need for someone to invest in something that’s not gonna work. If a person offers to pay then that’s different. I went out with a woman like that. No matter where we went, she made little to no effort to put her best foot forward. Dressed as if she just got out of bed. I put my best look on in respect to her and the evening. I expected more respectful attire from her. She didn't have to wear a dress or skirt, just look as if you put in some effort for me and the evening. I found it insulting coming from her. After about 3-4 dates there were just no sparks or chemistry.

It's customary for the man to offer to pay for the first date. It makes him feel chivalrous, and she should politely offer to pay her part, then shut up and not argue. However, both of their attitudes were disgusting.

Nowadays, it’s best to plan on paying your portion or half of the bill when you’re going on a first date. If both of you are completely different then there won’t be another date and no need for someone to invest in something that’s not gonna work. If a person offers to pay then that’s different. (I’m a 43 yr old woman if that matters.)

Another example of how hopeless this younger generation is looking.
First off with the guy, he got a lot of room to grow. Being hyper focus on looks will get him into trouble. He needs to sit with a straight spine, get a haircut and get rid of that manbun/little pony tail, and speak with a masculine presence. This will come with time, hopefully for him.
The girl is still young herself. She's still into the clubbing and drinking scene. That's not a good start, a red flag actually. Then the end, she expected him to pay and not bring any money to a date. Sadly, there are many "modern women" like her. They feel entitled to a traditional man and being treated and spoiled, yet they are not traditional women themselves. I do not have positive outlook for her future unless she changes.
Harry Styles has non of that and he's one of the most attractive men to 20 something women. Not all women want old fashioned manly looks like Russel Crowe or Channing Tatum. A lot of the boys a more feminine style do really well now.

But with that being said, strong traditional men do not want to be with women like that. At the end of the day, who do you do you want to have your back? Soyboy or a manly man. The choice is yours.
Lastly, it is established by many psychologist, Jordan Peterson for example, that women are naturally drawn to strong masculine men. It's obvious why from an evolutionary stand point.
actually i dont think she has to change at all tbh :) theres nothing wrong about partying, shes not 40 lol, and expecting to do what a man has always done, provide. Which in this case is only paying for food. my dad always said to me that if a man cant even pay a restaurant bill, how is he gonna take care of you..and thats exactly what its about. What I do think is that she looked uninterested but then again, i would be too with him
@@angytingz Your dad is right about that. If a man can't pay for restaurant bill, he can't take care of you. But, did your dad also say that in order for that type of man to be in your life, you need to be a good woman who doesn't drink, party, and sleep around? You need to be a good wife, mother, and supportive to the man? And it's a life time pattern. You don't live it up, sleep around and party hard in your twenties and suddenly become a good girl in your 40s. It doesn't work that way. Quality men do not want old used up women. Inconvenient truth there.
I agree with you- want to be treated like a lady? Act like one but on the flip side there are a lot of young men now days who want a lady, looks, personality, values but do not practise traditional masculine roles of protecting, providing and leading. Strange times.

I went out with a woman like that. No matter where we went, she made little to no effort to put her best foot forward. Dressed as if she just got out of bed. I put my best look on in respect to her and the evening. I expected more respectful attire from her. She didn't have to wear a dress or skirt, just look as if you put in some effort for me and the evening. I found it insulting coming from her. After about 3-4 dates there were just no sparks or chemistry.
Honestly all cups have their benefits
