A bit of a neat piece of trivia; In "The Reveal", when the robotic plant boss is chasing your character, you can get under it when it jumps into the arena. I was first made aware of this in a TAS, but I find it easily do-able without the need of tool assistance. Can even run to where the robot first shows up at, and keep going left/down forever; There's no death plane on the left side of the start, and you can even see the end of the background's various boundaries.
while i personally was never a huge fan of this game, i respect the HELL out of it. amazing level design, fantastic music, slick speedrunning strats, and boobas. what more could a gamer want?

That's me with Majora's Mask. I just couldn't dig the time system in gameplay or really the gameplay much in general but I fucking love things like the story, dark tone, and brooding atmosphere. I also still respect a lot of its gameplay elements even if I don't personally like them
"Positive Minions energy" is just LocoRoco, or Patapon. And I feel you'd really enjoy both of those. They were made by Japan Studio, who were also involved in making Bloodborne. Keep that in mind if you ever google those games; you're in for a nice surprise.

I played a lot of Legends, have yet to play Origins (despite buying it on the same day as legends) And man I gotta the say The thing about the water levels on Legends are so true, they have no right of being that good, definitely one of my favorite worlds in Legends (if not my favorite) The levels themselves, the stealth theme, the visuals, the music, oh my god the music... Why did Ubisoft stopped making these Rayman games they are so godamn good
Mark Brown has a GREAT video about how Legends pulls different mechanics into a single theme and uses them in different ways across that world. Really helps you appreciate the game design more.
Their cash cows sadly sell better. They pour so much into Rayman games only for them to pale in comparison to the revenue their other games will rake in. They do know people want a new one, but their studios are probably overworking on all the other games both already out and in the pipeline.

Of all the many things I love about this game, the top of the list for me is that all the voiced dialogue is spoken in Pig Latin. This game is so wonderfully goofy.
There is a slick move in this game and in "Legends" which you may not know about. When running jump and input down and attack the exact moment you touch the ground. If done correctly your character will do a weird roll attack. It's not useful, but definitely stylish. Edit: I replayed the game and turns out you simply have to attack during the rolling animation. It can be started in a few ways, for example landing when holding downwards or holding downwards after doing the dash attack.
I want everyone to know that in the full stream of this ‘speedrun’ grayfruit said that he would give the movie into the spiderverse a ‘poopy rimjob’ ( I also want to note he IMMEDIATELY regretted saying that)
Fun fact the awesome creator of this game Michel ancel wanted the engine of this game to be shared and free sourced that's why he created it and made it better when he developed legends So it could be an easy game engine to be used Unfortunately ubisoft didn't led him do that and it's used to make just dance games At least we got four amazing games with it Child of light Valiant heart the great war games And Rayman origins and legends

This game was literally my childhood, i remember making like drawings of made up “levels” with all the rayman characters in them when i was in like 5th grade.

This is one of my favourite games that I played on the wii even though they left out...well lets not beat around the bush here like most of the story xD. But regardless I love the music, style and feel and reminds me of summer days. It doesn't at all show its age, if I hadn't played/100% completed this game years ago and was told it was new I would have believed you.
I had never known that this was supposed to be unfinished. Sure there's a bit of jank here and there, but I didn't give it any mind. And I always assumed this game was just built with the story like this, which personally I think it works pretty well.

You see yhe *Origins* part of the game was going to show how rayman came to be, in fact if you had watched old ads for the game it talked about that but I think it had something to do with time constraints and disagreements on certain aspects so eventually they just shortly told Raymans origin story in the handbook of the game that came in the case. Its a shame really but I still wouldn't change the game in anyway. The lack of a story that you can follow only adds to the charm I think, feels like a dream you would have with no real continuity which makes sense I suppose seeing as the place is called the glade of dreams and was dreamt up by the bubble dreamer, you know that dude with the long beard that you see at the beginning? So in a way the lack of a real story kinda is the story if you think about it I guess.
Origins is such a fucking wild ride honestly, so many of my friends have died of laughter and what not. The music is just damn good and going for the 100% is a mix between pretty nice and ball busting.

I know its a joke, I get that but I am still gonna say it. Show Rayman some respect because lord knows ubisoft won't. He is a gaming legend and arguably the face of the company that owns him yet Rayman has been forgotten in favour for those bloody Rabbids. They didn't even celebrate his 25th birthday, they just said something about a mobile game that were about the rabbids.
i still find it pretty sick that Rayman is a whole ass ChARACTER with his own unique moves and animations. he's not an alternate skin like Globox or Barbara, but a whole ass canonical character even in-universe to Brawlhalla, and i find that SO admirable

i remember sitting on a gamer chair just chilling playing origins trying to complete the grandma level while eating some random stuff my parents made. starting from like 8pm to 11pm I SPENT 3 HOURS TO BEAT IT and i dont regret spending that time for THIS GOD DAMN GAME ITS JUST TOO GOOD

This is the best Rayman Origins “speedrun” out there hands down ❤😂. I didn’t think there was anyone who shares my love and nostalgia for this old platformer game but I was wrong. I’ve certainly never ever heard ANYONE sing the soundtracks HALF as amazing as this guy. What a great video.

I used to play the absolute joyful experience of Rayman Origins with my pals on PS3. I remember getting stuck on the last levels due to lack of Electoons and then searching every fricking inch of this game to the point i lowkey wanted to speedrun the game. Kinda bad im on college exams cause i now i wanna replayed it. Edit: 8:30 Im not sure if this is a (wet) dream of mine but i think that you can run under the flutesnake from tip to tip under it with Running Walls.
This is my favorite game of all time, kind of a coincidence that I discovered the game the same way you did and played the hell out of the demo, I remember feeling so accomplished after finally getting to actually fight the 4th boss.

It's cool to see someone having the most fun even though they don't know that you'll retain your momentum much better if you're doing dash attack slide jumps.
I used the full streams of this as background noise for drawing, so it was nice to actually see the gameplay!

This game reminds me a lot of LocoRoco 2, learnt tech, world gimmicks, vore level(s), final level where you take out the eyes of the last boss, and flying shooter segments

I used to play the absolute joyful experience of Rayman Origins with my pals on PS3. I remember getting stuck on the last levels due to lack of Electoons and then searching every fricking inch of this game to the point i lowkey wanted to speedrun the game. Kinda bad im on college exams cause i now i wanna replayed it. Edit: 8:30 Im not sure if this is a (wet) dream of mine but i think that you can run under the flutesnake from tip to tip under it with Running Walls.

This is my favorite game of all time, kind of a coincidence that I discovered the game the same way you did and played the hell out of the demo, I remember feeling so accomplished after finally getting to actually fight the 4th boss.
