This is a great method using the soaked tissue. one thing to be aware of, bleach doesn’t kill mould, it simply stains it white. So it looks like it’s gone but it’s still there so the spores are still harmful. I only learnt this recently after using this bleach method most my life. The best thing to use is white vinegar as the acid in it actually kills the bleach. Just make sure to wipe off with wet cloth/tissue gently and throw away so the dangerous mould spores doesn’t dry and float around in the air. You can also dilute some tea tree oil and spray that around the wall afterwards and this can help prevent the mould coming back.

Sodium hypochlorite, advertised as bleach, kills all living thing known to man. Your comment is wrong when it comes to bleach not killing spores. Nothing on this planet can survive being soaked in sodium hypochlorite for 12 hours.

I cut strips of paper towel and saturated it with a spray bottle of bleach, I like your method better. I can definitely confirm this method worked well. I have a few places where there is hard water scum so I am going to attempt this method with lime away and see if it works well for that too.

@@Imlilmizzswagger I left it on for two days. When the paper towel dried I put more bleach on it but after two days I took it off and the mold was still there :( I didn't want to have to do the caulking. I wonder if it's the bleach you used. Might be stronger than mine?

Put all the paper in then use something that presses on to it like a tarp or mesh anything and tape it to the wall that's dry just make sure u don't use any tape that rips the drywall. You're going to be there all day if you tape them one by one and most the time the tape won't stick

That's a lie she recaulk that tub the first time she showed it the caulk was bumpy now the caulk look smooth liar liar your pants on fire so the bleach smooth out the caulk to 😂😂😂
When doing mold removal, wear a proper respirator. Personally, I'd consider this biohazard situation, and go in, with no less than a full hazmat suit. While your methodology works, I prefer to do a bit different. Stay safe though, and protect yourself when working in hazardous environments. - Immaculate Cleaning

I will definitely have to try this but I wonder if it will work high up in my shower will the tissue fall off it or will it hold on the toilet tissue do anyone know this thank you .❤but it does look a great idea
This didn't work for me at all! After I placed it on it looked like I couldn't see any mold so I was so happy that I was finally going to get it clean. I left it for over 24 hours, maybe even two days and when I removed the paper towel the mold was still all there. This did not work and I'm really disappointed because I really wanted an easy fix so that I don't have to redo the caulking 😞

Chlorine kills mold for sure. It's highly alkaline (ph ~13) and will start killing spores on direct contact.

I def recommend ventilating the area as she suggested because I was feeling lightheaded after about 10 mins of sitting there applying this bleach 😂😂

How do you clean the side walls since gravity will soon cause the soaked paper towels to fall off before 3 hours are up?
Use painters tape
Will painters tape hold the wet bleach paper towels in place?

Can you that in between the wall grout too? Will the paper towel stick?
I suggest you use a thinner piece of paper towel if putting on the wall so it won't fall and press it well on the wall grout.

You’re talking about porous surfaces. For nonporous, mold is eliminated using the bleach so her method is indeed correct.
