Additional tip: Wet the paper towel before placing it. That way the wetness acts like a barrier so that it is not trying to soak up your cleaner AND is easier to make it stick to the places you put it.
So I literally found this video today and decided to try it. I had been dealing with a mold issue for awhile now and nothing that was made for the bathtub worked. Soon after I saw this video I ran off to the store and got some. I was amazed at the results. It really works!
jegramat yes I did exactly what she instructed in the video however I lessened my time that I let it sit. It doesn’t have to sit too long. The longer it sits the stronger the smell gets. My mold has yet to grow back yet.
my bathroom looks worse than this because our ventilation sytem doesnt work and my mom is kinda depressed so she cant clean it so im going to as a surprise while shes at work, thank u for this advice!
Found this video at 2:49 a.m., couldn't resist the urge to get rid of moldy bathroom walls so cleaned the bathroom right after watching. Back to bed at 3:32. Worked great! Thank you!❤
Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do! It’s 5am and I’m looking at this video while looking at my shower. I will be heading to Walmart as soon as they open. I’m glad it worked out for you.
For those doing this, it does get the bathroom very clean, but if you notice that there are some areas where the caulk is coming up. After this is done, my suggestion would be to remove the caulk with a caulk remover, then reclean (with not too much water) allow to dry completely (I would wait at least 24 hours depending on your climate) and caulk the area where the tub meets the tile (and any other area) With older caulk, water will slowly seep behind the caulk and mold will start to form. Caulk needs to be replaced every so often. Very good cleaning video!
@@luluisfunny Apartment maintenance should caulk for you. My fiancé is an Hvac technician at an apartment complex and they redo caulking for the residents!
I've read it might be a good idea to caulk with the tub full of water so the weight opens the joints as much as they'll ever be opened. Does this seem like too much to you?
@@kimbaleon27 Hi guys, remodel contractor here and I gotta say I never thought of this, so really appreciate a new idea but I would say in a wood structure this would absolutely have that effect, measurable or not, the opening of joints, so...hmmmm. Gotta think about it. What comes to me is another question...Would the empty tub and the desire of the structure to 'rebound' cause pressure on the grout joints that might make them pop/fail later? I guess the only thing I feel solid about is that the joint where tub meets tile I have always done with caulk, siliconized(at least) and same with vertical corners so probably no harm in pre-stressing those joints as I generally don't think of most caulk getting brittle and failing under 'slight' pressure. It's a different story with grout. I've seen a lot of old tubs with grouted joints in the corners and at the base so I will emphasize for other viewers or readers that the key here is caulk, not grout, on that tub joint.
I did this last night in our master shower, and I am STUNNED! Our shower grows mold and mildew easily due to poor ventilation, and has about a million 4x4 tiles, and 1x1 tiles covering the floor. I have tried every method of cleaning (some better than others), but it's such an ordeal, it makes me not want to ever do it based on how long it takes. I had a limited amount of toilet bowl cleaner, so I had to do very thin lines in the grout, but MAN!! It worked better than anything I have ever tried in there! I am STILL shocked! It seems so simple - I am SO thankful for this video!! We have company staying in our home this week, and you saved me!! (I especially love that you got right to the point - 3 minutes! You win!)
After it’s THOROUGHLY rinsed, you might want to go over the area with vinegar or a little tea tree oil. Clorox does not kill mold, it just takes the color away but the spores are still there. Vinegar or tea tree will kill the mold. Did a fantastic job of getting all the crud off though.
I used exact same product left it on for a few hours and this worked exactly as she says, and my bathroom tiles were 20 times worse. Thank you for the video. 🙂🙌🏼
Omg I tried this and it was alot worse than the one you cleaned here and it worked so well looks like a new shower! Thanks for doing this video it helped me so much!!!
Brianna Carver thanks for confirming now I’m excited to clean my shower cause I was worried it wouldn’t work because of how much worse it is then hers but thanks
@@anniebertolini724 there is no magic, no need to confirm, everyone knows (no?) that bleach kills and discolours mold completely. Surface only though. If you see mold, it's already inside walls. In a matter of time it will regrow back. Fully killing mold is impossible without replacement of the wall(ceiling or w/e its on).
3yrs later this video came across my feed-it WORKS guys, I literally let it sit for almost 2hrs & was AMAZED removing the paper towels. Didn’t have to scrub or anything just rinsed with hot water as she did in the video. I will say the tiles surrounding within the tub area didn’t come out as white, & I think it’s due to not being lined with paper towel but the tub edges itself came out SPARKLING WHITE!!! Thank u for this video & thank u algorithms for bringing it to my feed😂🙌🏽
I don't even listen to music anymore when I clean. I just put on your cleaning playlist and I just clean while listening to you talk about cleaning 😅 helps me stay motivated.
I run a small fan in my bathroom that sits on counter-top. Run for 30 min. after every shower and it will dry up water on grout. This will minimize mold on grout and you won't have to clean as often.
Did I just read “..not clean as often”🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ That is exactly how those bathrooms get like that. Nobody cleans them as often as they use them!! Wth!! I can’t, I just can’t with the laziness. NOBODY’S bathroom should look like that!!🗣🗣
I LOVE videos that get right to the point and is extremely detailed. You’re not tryna be a comedian or do anything extra to attract viewers, you’re just instructing us how to clean. That’s it, and I LOVE it. Thank you
@@sheislove.m Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner, Clinging Bleach Gel it worked phenomenally. I set it it on the moldy bits and then covered it up with paper towels and left it overnight to be sure it took. Then scrubbed and ta-da!
I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE on what to use for this dang bathtub. I am trying this RIGHT NOW! *Update* it worked!! I didn’t have paper towels to put on top of it, but for the most part it did great!!!
Watched this and went straight to the store to get the cleaner. Stay tuned for results.... im so excited waiting that hour is going to be tough 😂😂 Update: I have tried and mixed all the home DIY solutions and I can say THIS is the best method. Quick, easy and will give you the best results. Thank you for this!
I'm returning to your video just to say Thank YOU!!! ♥️ I've tried so many other cleaners to get my grout clean. I was just about to re-grout my shower. When I came across your video. This thing works like magic! I did not have to do any scrubbing.( I let it sit a few hours) It just magically disappeared. Now my shower looks brand new. Thanks again for sharing. ♥️
In our old house the caulk around the edge would get moldy every 4-6 months, so after bleaching a few times I would eventually just scrape it out and take 5 minutes to apply fresh bright white caulk... talk about satisfying! 🤗
I’ve tried that too 👍😁 silicone works best bc its easy to apply and remove • My tip to avoid reoccurrence, after showering, towel dry the problem areas and make sure to ventilate via window or fan.. • To avoid *product rust rings* from items like shaving cans, use *Nail Polish* (don’t matter if color/clear, works the same) paint around bottom of can’s rim.
Meghan Glew Old World Home (Hilary) lives in a new home now and renovated her bathroom, so I don't think she'll be having mold issues for quite some time. :)
I don’t think you understand how grateful I am for this video! I have tried so many products for this issue! I can’t believe it worked so well! I could cry that I’ve found a good solution for this!
Greeting from Ontario, Canada! 👋 I tried this last night and left it on for about 7 hours while I slept. About half of the bottle was used and maybe 1/3 of a paper towel roll. Because I have a stand up shower, no scrubbing was required, yay! I am very pleased with how it turned out 😃 I used a tip from another commenter and wet the paper towel a bit. I even applied it to the outside of my shower and the entire thing almost looks brand new! If you're in Canada, you won't find the exact bottle label used in this video because I believe it is the US version. As long as its Clorox and says with bleach, it will do the trick. Canadian Tire and Walmart both carry it. And yes - please wear grubby clothes, gloves and a mask while doing this! Thank you so much girl! 🙏💜🙏
I don't comment on videos very often, but I had to here. My shower was starting to look really gross, after having tried every product I thought would work. But nothing did. Luckily this popped up randomly one day. I decided to try it last week and GIRL. My shower looks like new! I never would have thought to use toilet bowl cleaner. I can't thank you enough for making this video.
We just moved into a nice apartment that was professionally cleaned before moving in but they did a lousy job on the bathtub tiled walls. Ugh - pink mouldy grout lines. Your video turn my bathroom around and it now looks amazing! I can't believe how well your tip worked. Thank you! Now I can't stop staring at my super clean bathtub walls.
Wow! Your method really works! I've been trying for years to get rid of the moldy stains. The bleach baking soda works great, but you are absolutely correct when you say you need a very stiff scrub brush. it's like a new tub now! Thank you!
Holy crap this actually works! I moved into an older house and the grout looked about that bad. I've been battling it for months with expensive grout cleaners, straight bleach and toothbrushes, whatever I can get my hands on and nothing worked. But I just came from the bathroom and the difference is night and day! Amazing! For anyone wanting to try this at home the smell is horrible so make sure your fan is on and all windows are open. Thank you for this video.
now do yourself a favor and go spend the money and buy a good grout sealer so this doesn't keep happening. The grout sealer will make it so water doesn't penetrate the grout.
I love that you said "I'm so weird" at the end! You are REAL and it's endearing! Thank you for this tip! I'm definitely going to try this because even when I was cleaning every day (so tiring!) the mold from our old shower would keep re-appearing!
If you should ever renovate the bathroom, have them install a fan driven vent. You can squeegee the tiles. Then after toweling, use the towel to wipe down the faucets, showerhead, shower curtain, and finish up toweling the grout line where the tile meets the ledge of the tub. It's a good idea to pull the bath mat and hang it up along the outside edge of the tub with most of the mat draped toward the inside of the tub. It sounds like a lot but will take only an extra seven minutes. The idea is to keep the humidity low and surfaces dry. Perhaps, even leave the door open.
I’ve been using this trick for years and I love it! I even use Clorox toilet cleaner in my kitchen. It’s the only clingy type of bleach I can find. Thanks for sharing. 😊
no shade to other channels but clean my space has a video like this thats nearly 10 mins telling you to use like 10 different products and scrub this and wipe that and sand this etc etc and here this video told me to get 1 product and it's barely 3 mins- love this! Also I appreciate that you show us how to clean a bathroom that's already dirty so we can actually see the results- other channels clean an already clean surface and it's pointless to me. I can't wait to try this on my tub!
Yeah, but the other way might be better for nature like this toxic harshness which will get into our groundwater and has to be filtered out and will remain in toxic trash which has to be recycled! Come on folks! Think further!
Stephanije Op de Velt it can remain in your lungs for a bit too! It may do a dandy clean up job but it can get in your lung tissue also and be dangerous
Stephanije Op de Velt you wouldn’t need to deep clean like this all the time though. This is for a shower that’s really bad to start off with. Every one can clean a well maintained shower but you would need some extra strength cleaner for something like this.
Been trying to clean mold from shower grout for many months and was afraid I would have to removed the grout and start over.. Tried this and WOW. Looks like new. Other videos suggested toilet paper instead of paper towels I think the cheap toilet paper was easier to roll and put in the cracks so I would recommend that.
This actually saved me. The shower in the apartment I'm getting ready to leave had some mold from water sitting on the ledge. I tried this and it worked beautifully. It also removed a purple hair dye from the sink!
It's 2022, and I just found this video, and I'm so grateful I did! I thought the shower in our rental house was a lost cause, but I tried this, and I cannot believe it worked! It's like wizardry!! I am blown away. 😳 My only regret is not taking before and after photos. Thank you so much!
You are definitely not weird I am on the same page as you, when it comes to cleaning so satisfying to see something so dirty come out so clean. Love your video's
I have dealt with this issue for years and have replaced the caulk many times. I tried out your method and couldn’t be HAPPIER. It worked great. I used cotton balls based on another video and kept it on the molded area for about 10 hours. All I can say is WOW. Thank you for the video.
I knew about this trick from a friend but it was for floor tile grout. Recently my shower needed a good deep cleaning and I tried this trick. My shower looks so much better! I just didn't let it sit I got minimal results. I will definitely keep it on longer next time! SO glad I subscribed to your channel. God bless you, Catherine! (I hope that's how you spell your name) PS I love how you always have a huge smile on your face and I can tell you love your family so much. 😊 Everything is a blessing in your life and that gives me hope again ❤️
This is miraculous! I did this yesterday and my bathroom shower before looked just like your example, yucky as h*ll. Now the caulk is white, the grout is clean. There are a couple of spots I can do over (cause I didn’t have a tile brush) but it’s like a new shower! Thank you so much!💖
I live in the west and hard water is a constant struggle even with a commercial grade water softener. I use Lime Away toilet bowl cleaner ( recently found at the Dollar Tree 😳🤗) for my rain glass shower enclosure much in the same way you have used the Clorox toilet bowl cleaner for the mold. Works beautifully for removing hard water stains! 👍🏻🤗
I just tried this method last night after watching this video and I am truly impressed. Previously I had tried other products that were intended for mold and didn't not have much success. This method truly saved me money and lots of time. The only thing I am not a fan of is the fumes from the product. I did use a face mask, but I believe I needed one that is a little stronger. Other than that, I definitely recommend this method as it truly works and it also removes the mold off the caulking as well. Thank you so much!
You are a genius! Tried this today on dirty old shower and it looks fabulous!!!!! You made it look fun and easy and best of all it works!!! Thank you!💐
You are amazing! My shower looks brand new! Thank you for this cleaning hack. Just for everyone else, be sure to wear an old shirt, face mask and gloves when working with bleach.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! Our tub had dark circles from the bathmat. I tried everything to get rid of them without luck. The Clorox toilet bowl cleaner with clinging gel took them off but there was a tiny circle of rust that we hadn’t noticed before. We decided to try again with the Clorox toilet bowl cleaner, left it on overnight and now that rust mark is gone too! ❤
This worked like a charm. I wish I had taken a picture of a before and after, but it was so bad, that I was quite embarrassed. Put the cleaner on and let it sit for 30 minutes then scrubbed it clean and rinsed it down off the walls and the tub. Thank you so much for the tip!
WoW! I never would've thought to use tb cleaner in the shower, but I'm definitely going to try it TODAY! I'm always struggling to keep the area under the built-in soap holder mold/mildew free & this looks like just the thing I've been needing! Tfs!
Darnia Taylor I tried it - left it on overnight and simply rinsed with hot water the next day. Zero effort. This lady is reliable and phenomenal with all her tips on this channel!
Thank you so much!! I tried this hack tonight, but i wet the paper towels to seal in the product, and IT REALLY WORKS!! I WILL NEVER CLEAN MY BATHROOM ANY OTHER WAY AGAIN! Then i sprayed Dawn to remove the rest of the Clorax because when it was dry for too long, it left streaks. My bathroom never looked so good!!
Wow! Thank you so much..I'm disabled and have providers that come into my home to help w cleaning and cooking..they never can keep my tub clean! Idk why! It has always really bothered me 1 recently had me purchase a 4 dollar product which she used up in 2 weeks and no difference in the mold issue..I am a super clean person..I am not messy..I cant stand dirty things! Yuck..so can u imagine how I feel showering in a moldy tub! Ugh! I took a solution of bleach and water I really dont like using chemicals in my home I like vinegar to clean and bleach..and I sprayed the tub myself let it soak and got a lot of the mold off! Had her scrub it etc..geez what had she been doing! Lol..anyway I'm gonna try this! To get it super clean to have a fresh start! Awesome sauce! My tiny apt is an older one but I love my home! Thanks! 😃👍🦋🌺
You might want to try a hypochlorous acid cleaner. I like CleanSmart (stabilized) or Force is Nature if you’d prefer to make your own. You will not see results as dramatic as this video, but it’s safe to use and great for maintenance. It will cut mold/mildew over time. I have a friend who has been using a sprayer (with Force of Nature) to reach a spot in her bathroom she can’t get to without a ladder & it cut the mold/mildew in a couple of weeks with a quick shot after showers. It’s kid and pet safe and won’t irritate your respiratory system. Vinegar can be tough on the lungs if it isn’t properly ventilated.
Thank you for this - i came home after three weeks to mold under the bath mats and a brown shower. Bathmats are on the balcony now and the shower is now white and free of spores and mold spots!
I just want to say I tried this and OMG I was very shocked by the results!... it really does work! I didn’t even have to scrub too much all the black mold stayed on the paper towels TY
I have a bathroom styled just like this & I struggled for so long on how to eliminate these moldy spots around my tub. I’m so thankful I bumped into this video for a true resolution. I am definitely giving this a try today! ❤
You are a life saver! I was literally about to clean an old shower that looks similar and I was not looking forward to how long it was going to take me. I will be picking this up today before I think of even stepping in that bathroom to do anything! Thanks!
Pertaining to mold in apartments, The previous owners of the Apartment's did treat the mold that was in my carpet. It was due to leak in windows in a room I use for storage. It took care of the problem! Now days you get charged for everything! Where I mean at gone are the days that you get anything included with your Rent! It's just awful and you better have insurance that covers ever little thing that can go wrong cuz you will be liable!
@@donnaharvill8210 that’s terrible! I don’t get charged extra for anything. I have noticed that some states are just trifling and don’t care about tenants rights. I think that that my be your state’s fault for allowing that to be legal. In my state, you can’t just kick someone out, you have to go through a full process that requires going through the courts, and that could take up to 6mons, but minimum 45days. But when my little brother lived in Utah (for school) these trifling people were able to kick anyone out only by giving them a 3day notice. As a college student money and jobs can come and go so fast, and I wasn’t about to keep paying his rent so I put him on the next flight smokin. He didn’t want to be there anymore anyways. 😅anyways that was tmi, but not sure where you live, but that can change if the people want it to.
Wow. I'm in the middle of this, two hours in because it's really baaaaaad...i checked under the paper towels and its lightening. I always think im that person who nothing works for...this is woooorrrrking. Thank uuu❤
You can spray vinegar water mixture 15 min before you shower on a regular basis to help the growing of molds down. Best to dry everything when done with showering
OMG! I can’t believe it!!! It worked!!! I have tried all the products that claimed to kill mold and nothing really worked… When I saw this video I thought “seems reasonable, because WC cleaner is gel textured and can stay in the walls for longer… so I gave it a try as a last attempt before using tilex (too dangerous when your bathroom isn’t well ventilated) and… I’m here asking the Lord to bless you forever. My walls are now clean, shiny and better than new. Thank you.
I need to thank you!!! My fiance moved into a somewhat older apartment and the bathtub was almost as bad as this and I sent him this video.. now it looks sooo clean and bright I love watching your videos!
OH MY GOSH!! It worked sooo well, my tub is beautiful and sparkly clean now! I was worried about the caulking but it cleaned it up nicely! Stubborn mold in the crevices of the textured bottom of the tub came right up. Thank you!!! I used safety goggles to avoid bleach splashing in my eyes from the brush. Recommend!
Thank God we didn’t have UA-cam when I was a kid. My mom would be like, “I don’t want to hear you can’t get the stains out. The Dime Lady did it! Here go some toilet bowl cleaner.” 😂😂
I am absolutely amazed!!! My shower is similar in style and age and I’ve tried so many different methods of cleaning that just did not work. After your method it looks almost brand new. Thank you so much for sharing this, I can’t get over how well it works!!!

Living Even Keeled +++ Yes! A million times yes! I would love a whole series on windows! There must be a range of tips and tricks for old windows and new! Not to mention that wooden framed windows can have different cleaning requirements than plastic or metal!
Videos like this are really helpful. When I watch videos of new pristine houses getting cleaned it is just unrealistic for many who don't have brand new homes. Would love to see more like this
Wow, I can't thank you enough. The mold in the shower grout was so bad that I kept thinking that I was breathing spores into my lungs - nothing I tried would remove it. So, I did what you said. I bought Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner Gel and thin long brush with hard bristles. The gel stayed put (didn't need paper towels) and I left it there all day. Usually when I work with bleach I get it on my shoes and clothes, but not this time. The gel didn't splash at all and getting the right size brush (thin for the grout line) did the trick. Thank you so much!
That turned out awesome and looks super easy to do. Would you consider doing a stove clean up video (top or inside)? What products would you consider using to achieve this type of clean up with a stove? Great video! Thanks!
I, shamelessly, clicked this video while I’m on this cleaning binge during this whole covid thing. This video was meant for me and I’m going to the store after to try this out. I almost want to call out of work and do this instead because I’m that excited
This was so helpful! Thank you. I just moved into an apartment it’s really dirty tub. The rest of the house is clean but the tube is ungodly disgusting. I was overwhelmed but this was super helpful. 👍
Excellent Tip.. I bought the same Clorox from Walmart and applied and kept whole night. It just gone.!! Earlier I have been tried out couple of things with baking soda and vinegar videos that didn’t help at all. This is simple and perfect results!
Here's a tip, don't bleach black mold! Bleach doesn't clean out mold, it turns it white so you just don't see it, that's why it's gonna come back in a few weeks. To clean out mold you need something that kills mold rather than a whitener. The best way is to remove the caulk, kill the mold, then reapply a fresh coat of caulk. To prevent mold from coming back, make sure you dry the bathtub with an extra towel after you shower and/or open a window (if you have one).
Elio Rose exactly.. I never have moldy problems anyways because I actually maintain my bathroom. But this is why I don’t shower in other folks tubs. Because they don’t maintain
OMG, OMG, It Works!!!!! I have a very old tub and tiles. I have tired Everything to get that nasty mold off, and I mean everything. I left it on overnight and really soaked the paper towels. I just removed them and I can't believe it! Thank you so very much.
I love using lemon pledge on a towel to wipe down my ceiling fans then when you turn them on you really smell the lemon and I buy cheep big paint brushes to clean out my vents and closet doors just spray the brush with pledge then stick the bristles in the cracks to clean them out
Use a pillow case. Place pillowcase over the blade, and wipe down the length of it. It cleans both sides at one time, and the dirt and lint goes right into the case. You can spray the pillowcase with a cleaner or furniture duster first, or use it dry.
USE with CAUTION!!!!: As she stated if you have an older super moldy tub/shower - that you'll probably need to regrout afterwards - then this is awesome. If you're like me, with a few moldy spots in a not as old shower (2000s), you may regret using it. It ate away at the top layers of not moldy grout and now I have ugly looking grout with color peeking unevenly throughout. A few edges of stone tile also got eaten away at and I have dark chipped looking spots. It would've been amazing had I only spot cleaned the stubborn moldy spots... Hopefully you won't make the same mistake I did.
Thank you for the comment. I wonder whether the damage to the caulking was due to the gel applied or due to the scrubbing. How do you spot clean moldy spots, with the same gel? I am also having this problem now.
@@amberlo8660 I'm pretty certain it wasn't the scrubbing. The caulking looked to have disintegrated prior to the initial gentle wiping with a cleaning cloth. I left it on too long and the chemicals are just super strong. To spot clean - also with caution - I would make sure to use only on mold and not leave it on that long. I'd try leaving it for a minute or less to be safe - depending on how much mold there is and how old or thin your grout is. Then rinsing and repeating as needed.
Ohh my gooooodness! I just tackled my old 1949 tiled bathroom using your trick with the toilet bleach gel cleaner! OMG it looks brand new. I had tried every tile & mold killing cleaner none of them ever came close to how well this worked!!! THANK YOU!!!!
Great job! Just one warning: do not leave the harsh cleaning liquid on the taps or anything metal. I once left it on for 2 hours (meaning to leave it for 20 minutes only, but had to rush out to buy something). The chrome was permanently corroded, couldn't get my bond back when I moved out a few years later.
I can't believe I'm doing this ... but SUPER thanks !!! I wish I would have taken before and after pictures !!! My wife recently became disabled which really turned my life upside down and so now I have to do EVERYTHING and so the tub and tiles got neglected. Pretty sad that getting my tub and tile back to new would be such a happy event. Thanks for this video and I will pass it on.
Additional tip: Wet the paper towel before placing it. That way the wetness acts like a barrier so that it is not trying to soak up your cleaner AND is easier to make it stick to the places you put it.
And I found that the best brush is actually an old fashioned shoe brush. 🤷🏼♀️
MiragesMisteryGirl I usually use a denture brush to clean grout, but I will try this method.
Cool! Thanks for the tips you guys!
Excellent observation and application.
Thanks

Quick tip. After rinsing away the bleach, I like giving it a once over with dawn soap. It cleans off the residue from the bleach.

Thank you for the comment. I wonder whether the damage to the caulk was due to the gel applied or due to the scrubbing. Ideas, please? Thanks.
This is incredible. My shower is the cleanest its been in 13 years. THANK YOU. This has made cleaning so much easier.
Wow..thanks for the tip, Marguerite! 😊
Bleach disinfects, it doesn't clean.... so it does kill mold spores...
If you get the kind with bleach it will kil mold
I love your profile pic. So cute :-D

I used exact same product left it on for a few hours and this worked exactly as she says, and my bathroom tiles were 20 times worse. Thank you for the video. 🙂🙌🏼

I run a small fan in my bathroom that sits on counter-top. Run for 30 min. after every shower and it will dry up water on grout. This will minimize mold on grout and you won't have to clean as often.
do you do this in addition to running the overhead fan?
Also, A squeegee in the shower is your very best friend . 😀
Lazy ass. Squeegee or microfiber it

Will Lysol bowl cleaner work as well?
In our old house the caulk around the edge would get moldy every 4-6 months, so after bleaching a few times I would eventually just scrape it out and take 5 minutes to apply fresh bright white caulk... talk about satisfying! 🤗
Old World Home i have scraped most of it out now...ill remove what's left and apply a fresh coat. Thanks for the tip
I’ve tried that too 👍😁 silicone works best bc its easy to apply and remove
• My tip to avoid reoccurrence, after showering, towel dry the problem areas and make sure to ventilate via window or fan..
• To avoid *product rust rings* from items like shaving cans, use *Nail Polish* (don’t matter if color/clear, works the same) paint around bottom of can’s rim.
Could you post a video next time you do it? I would LOVE to do that, but nervous that I would ruin something

I don’t think you understand how grateful I am for this video! I have tried so many products for this issue! I can’t believe it worked so well! I could cry that I’ve found a good solution for this!
Greeting from Ontario, Canada! 👋
I tried this last night and left it on for about 7 hours while I slept. About half of the bottle was used and maybe 1/3 of a paper towel roll. Because I have a stand up shower, no scrubbing was required, yay! I am very pleased with how it turned out 😃
I used a tip from another commenter and wet the paper towel a bit.
Lol, I love your comment! The can't stop staring part made me laugh so hard. Thanks!
Pink? That's serratia. Has it come back?
I just tried this and I keep going back to my bathroom just to look at the difference 😂
Pink or orange grout is from hard water. You have an iron problem.
Thank you!!! Great excellent tip
I thought "no way will this work." I tried it, and it worked perfectly! Wow...I'm shocked but thrilled. Nice work.

Hahahaha right!??
I told UA-cam that I was "not interested" in Clean My Space . A lot of stupid and/or labor intensive advice on that channel.
Yeah, but the other way might be better for nature like this toxic harshness which will get into our groundwater and has to be filtered out and will remain in toxic trash which has to be recycled! Come on folks! Think further!
The reason clean my space uses more product is because it's eco friendly, non-toxic ingredients.
I live in a 1956 farmhouse and I'm trying this today!!!! Thank you Kathryn!!

@@donnaharvill8210 that’s terrible! I don’t get charged extra for anything. I have noticed that some states are just trifling and don’t care about tenants rights. Just a quick tip if you use Lysol power bathroom cleaner (blue bottle) on the chrome fixtures of the restroom it Makes them shine so beautifully
ive also noticed clr ( even off brand clr from dollar tree ) has made my fixtures look brand new
Just run lots of water down the drain, as that stuff will ruin pipes.
Because it contains citric acid with is anti-bacterial. It literally eats soap scum and crud. Very good product!
If you leave it on too long it will eat through the finish though
You can also use Clorox mildew remover after cleaning. I had to do that in my old shower.

How do you kill the mold though? With what product
. or what type of solution?

More cleaning tips, yes! What about ceiling fans and ac vents?
This really is one of the best channels out there. I love your work so much!! This was such an amazing transformation!
YES! DIRTY TO CLEAN VIDEOS PLEASE!
I would love to watch more of these
Can i leave it for 40 minutes?
Your energy is contagious! THANK YOU
and a little annoying.
