Outstanding - thank you so very much for explaining how to use Inter-App audio in Cubasis. I’ve never seen a video that explained it so well. This allows the usage of apps that don’t support AUv3 thus opening up many more sonic possibilities.
@@MobileMusicPro Actually since watching your video it's opened up a whole new set of Sonic possibilities to me that I had not thought about before using old IAA apps and even sending midi out to Gadget and getting the audio back into Cubasis via Audiobus. This has been a real lightbulb moment for me.
Thank you very much for this tutorial! after 4 years, i will finally be able to use my korg IM1. The technique also works with Auria Pro. On the other hand, I can't manage to do the same thing with Garageband and BM3. That is to say, I would like to play the Alchemy in Cubasis 3, as you did for Korg. Is it possible please?
Unfortunately GB doesn't play well with other apps so you'd have to manually export any audio from GB out to any other DAW to capture the sound of Alchemy.
What version of cubasis 3 are you using? I’ve been trying this with version 3.4 and it doesn’t seem to work. I’m also using audiobus2 but I should get the same results?
This might sound like a silly question, but I'm old school and I studied music composition. But are you making these chord progressions for download for people who don't know how to make their own chord progressions?
If you are referring to our sample packs and midi packs then yes, we make them for pros and novices. Pros love them because there's new material they can chop up or get inspired from, and novices love them because we provide everything you need to get started. Our MIDI packs comes with chords, melodies, bass and drums, and our sample packs come with templates, presets and midi files as well. The idea is to get more people making music regardless of how much they've studied music :)
@@Alckemy IAA apps by design were external from the DAW and AUv3 apps by design are internal and yes all DAWs on iOS including Cubasis support AUv3 apps.

I have a problem for some reason in my cubasis 3 on Android,If for example making a beat, I'm using kick drum snare drum and hi-hat. Then if I'm going to my different project and I'm going back to the same one I'm losing some of the samples or all of them are playing the same sample together.. Very strange! anybody had the same problem as me? I would appreciate anybody's feedback on that.
Freezing a track simply freezes whatever virtual instrument you're using inside of Cubasis into audio and has nothing to do with routing. Audiobus is specifically used when an instrument app is not AUv3 and needs to be routed into Cubasis. Audiobus is a much more stable option than the now deprecated IAA (inter app audio) workflow when an app does not yet support the modern AUv3 standard.
@@MobileMusicPro I did a sequence in FL mobile, I recorded using the routing function inside cubasis. It’s better to do using Audiobus? I use freeze track when I’m using the keyboard of Cubasis to fire other apps sounds, when I freeze the track the it turns in to audio. Is this method too bad? Also I suck at playing in scale there’s any way to fix this with any app inside the cubasis, I don’t see any option to bring the scale in Cubasis.

Gadget is awesome, a little bit of every thing is in there. I am trying to do a album using korg gadget and maybe a mastering app...any advice would be nice. Thanks for the video. You can do the same thing without using Audiobus. Just open an audio track and rout it to interapaudio bus.
Indeed though I find the audiobus way to be far more stable.

That was version 3.3 but it should work the same in 3.4.

Yep you certainly don't need IAA apps anymore as there's just so many AUv3 apps now.

Freezing a track simply freezes whatever virtual instrument you're using inside of Cubasis into audio and has nothing to do with routing.
