I agree if I have people coming over for dinner I end up prepping some stuff that I can early in the morning because I like to enjoy their company sit around the kitchen have some beers and chat while I am making dinner. My mom used to make everything at once when hosting friends when we were kids and she just got stressed all the time.
Mike, what's your go-to dog? Are you going with Koegel's? Dearborn? Something else? Whenever I go back to New Jersey, I bring back an assortment of dogs for the guys at work. We have a hot dog roller! I bring back Nathan's, Thumann's, World Class Kitchen (Shop-Rite), Sabrett's, Windmill, Best's & Black Forest. All are natural casing. The NY-style onions & sauce is also a hit.
