Another good vid Ben ..I’m still using a old mychron 3 but it works ..there stinking exspensive lol ..just getting ready for the season .test and tune is coming quick ..just gotta get a clutch and I’m not sure wether to run a disc clutch or a shoed clutch for my box stock predator class ..I look forward to these Sunday videos 🤘🤘

I’m new to this channel and new to my mychron 5. I have yet to get any Rpm signal or CHT reading I’m not getting any track creation and I’m missing the bottom part of my homepage that tell battery percentage. Can I please get some help or what should I do

First thing I would do is try and update the software. I believe these now are WiFi enabled, so maybe try and attempt to connect to your WiFi at home to see if there is a update. I havnt done mine though. Or maybe check and see if there is a reset device in the setting? If all else fails contact Mychron Mike at AIM and he should be able to walk you though it. I haven’t had any issues in quite awhile with any of my mychron devices.

Can you count lap times without a transponder system with these?

Yes. The series 5 uses gps to time laps.

How does it know the speed of the kart...? Just a rpm conversion or you need anothersensor attached?

GPS tracking for speed. Also you can manually set the start/finish line or GPS will just create one.
