How does this track your lap times. Is this because tracks have gps systems

The Mychron 5 has a built in GPS antenna, it then uses the GPS satellites to track its position. From this info along with documented track data, it can determine lap times.

Hi! Good Morning. Can I ask you something? my mychron 5 generates 14 partials when I download the information to the computer (depending on the direction changes of the circuit). This produces that it has a considerable difference between the real return with respect to the ideal return. I want to do 4 partials but I don't know how to do it. Should I modify it from "master map"?

We only use this for oval dirt track racing, so that is not something we have experience with.
