Hey Will! Jan Schuler here (orange and white car) in that race, was great racing with you man! Last lap incident in the chicane was tough, I could not react in time to see the guy ahead reacting to the spun car, so I gave him a tap in the back. Unfortunate ending to a great race :)
Good comeback race, GR86 is always a challenge. I feel for you, I also had a huge loss in two days went from an A Class to a C in less that two days, as you, I took a break and now building back up. See you at the next one.
Re: the two wheel thing, that’s always been a bug with the GRs it feels like. I’ve seen people spin and roll it over at Long Beach coming out of turn 5 just because the tires suddenly grip up laterally
My favorite car!!! (BRZ) This will be fun to watch for sure! Edit: Hell yeah man, solid driving as usual! Great job on avoiding those spinouts too! Watching replays is always one of the best ways to improve down the road.
Good race. I love this race/car combo - but one thing I don't understand, is the Kemmel Straight, I cannot reach the speeds you are - I top out at 182. I am sure I get a good exit from Eau Rouge, but I can not get anywhere close to the speeds you're getting. Am I missing something obvious?
Good racing man, my only question why dont you rev out in every gear, you kinda short shift , them car love going to the red line they kinda bog down if you dont
I lover the GR86 series but it is a lot of "rubbing is racing" In the past week I did a few races in Spa and there were some highs (a win and a 4th place) but in two other races I had top 5 starting positions but got pushed of and got my race ruined. Sometimes people go for every gap that isn't there.
do you plan on doing much endurance racing with this rig, of course this weekend was spa 24, but there are events like indy 6 hour and bathurst 1000 coming up that would be sick in that sim rig
You cannot put the word realistic and iracing in the same sentence, the game just isnt there graphically. The driving and sim seems very good however!!!
Which would be more realistic: Mariokart physics with photorealistic graphics or accurate physics modeling with Mariokart graphics? It's a subjective judgement but I'd say that graphics are not at the top of the list of realism factors in racing. If you can say that iRacing isn't realistic because graphics, I can respond that literally no other game is as realistic because of tire traction/wear, slip angle, weight transfer, suspension responsiveness, engine/transmission behavior, designed incentives to race seriously, and so on and so on.

Great to see you back in the car, love the Toyota series race it myself a lot. At the moment by far my most favourite series the GR86.

Excellent Race. Thanks for the content.
Good race!
Superb race! Need more!
You must have done a few as I was battling with you in one of these races as well. Was great fun.

Whats the spooter overlay youre using? Nice Vid
A very respectable driver.
Racelab. :)
Great racing and video!

Good race. Which spotter do you have there?
The audio spotter is Crew Chief.

Hey Will, love the content! Any chance of you dabbling in NASCAR Road racing?

Unlikely. I don’t enjoy endurance racing.
Losing 2 licences in one night?!?
That needs a video.
Turn 1 pile ups in F3
Is it the car settings? Your straight line speed seems to be slower than others?
No it’s a fixed series. It’s just corner exit speed and slip stream.
Will ford?
That's his name! Don't wear it out ;)
The quality of vision doesn’t seem as good as normal Will.
Gloomy weather will do that.
We need more of this but downhill racing.
How old is this version of spa? It looks ancient.
Yeah, I believe there's a new version coming soon™

How incredibly slow it seems to go. I think I drive faster with a car and with a trailer.
😆
Graphics look poor but great driving
