Mori is incomparable! There is no doubt to me that people in The Philippines recognize and appreciate great vocals much more than people in the U.S. where I am from. If not, Morissette would be more well known in the West by now. No one else's vocals are as soothing and calming, yet shocking and full of amazement as Mori's are to me. One of the few contemporary artists in the world for which I would be willing to travel for hundreds of miles and pay an expensive ticket to attend a concert (Springsteen, U2, maybe Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera if the opportunity arises). But she is the only one who is not yet officially recognised as a top world artist 🥺
