Christian Bautista has been very instrumental in her career. he was the one who encouraged Mori to stay in Manila for a little longer and wait for the right time. She was already set to go back to her hometown in Cebu City.

There's color everywhere 🌈 whenever Morissette sings. She has such a beautiful voice, artistry and musicality, that whatever she sings, be it her original songs or covers or remakes, she makes them sound so good to listen to. She is truly a gem in the world of music. 🥰
Just to share with you, for a long time, I also thought that "Colour Everywhere" is Christian Bautista's original song. It's only when Morissette did a remake last year with Universal Records Philippines that I learned that the original singer is American Deana Carter. I like that Morissette revived this beautiful romantic song. It was only a lyric video they released last year. This is the first time I watched Mori performed it with a live band. 🥰
Christian Bautista is like an older brother or "kuya" to Morissette. If I'm not mistaken, there was a time during Mori's earlier years, when she came to Manila from her home province of Cebu, that she almost gave up her dreams of making it big in the Philippines' music industry, and Christian is one of those who encouraged her and supported her to continue trying and waiting for the big breaks. The rest, as we know, is history. She sang during Christian and Kat's wedding reception in 2018 (she sang a cover of Beyonce's "Halo", please check on it). They did some collaborations even during the pandemic. Together with Erik Santos, they did "Three-logy" concert tour in the US after the pandemic.
You may also have noticed that for the past year or so, Morissette is no longer using her whistle register. Even when she sings her iconic song "Akin Ka Na Lang", she's no longer doing the whistle notes. I read from a comment by Dave that it's her doctor's advice. So this is one way of Mori taking care of her voice, so it will not be abused and deteriorate, as what Cindy mentioned about what happened to M.C.'s voice. So, we may no longer hear her whistle notes anymore, especially in live performances, but the good thing about that is we can expect to listen to her for many more years. Just like what Cindy mentioned, she can sing songs like these two here, for many years.
Again, I would like to commend you, Ryan, for letting Cindy have her some moments to talk, voice out and share her views and thoughts, including those that she get the chance to let out only in these reaction videos. I'm sure she appreciates you for that.

Fantastic mori released waterwalk a couple of yrs ago but revisiting it in this session of songs.and colour everywhere is one of my favorites from mori.dave and mori did a cover of o holy night at the favour church on Sunday fantastic. Always a pleasure to listen to your reactions.🔥👑

Thanks, Ryan and Cindy!!! With her gorgeous tone and middle range vocals, Morissette can sing beautifully til she's 60+ years old if she wanted to. I totally buy the whole Mariah (early Mariah!) + Elvis combo there, Cindy! Morissette is the epitome of *accretion.* Of all the artists out there, she is the one who was able to capture the special techniques, styles and nuances of so many great artists (e.g. Whitney, Mariah, Shirley Bassey, Beyonce, Jessie J, Regine Velasquez, etc.), fuse it all together, and take it to another level. She always reminds me of so many of the greats!

Mori and Christian Bautista have sung together many times plus Mori sang at his wedding, they did the threelogy concerts in the USA this year as well, I love this session, its like they are sitting in your living room Jamming and having fun, Mori has said when she was going through difficult times she turned to God and we see Dave taking Mori by the hard to the favor church where they go to worship, this live session was superb and just before flying to Australia for a sold out concert, there are a lot of phone Videos out there, the Ladys of the Philippinens have been busy this month by asap birit queens and other concerts, Regine and friends where all the Ladys were invited, there is more to come, now my favorit song from the five songs is WATERWALK the rhythm and the lyrics are just perfection then Mori's beautiful voice telling the story with so much love, when she looks up to heaven WOW, then COLOUR EVERYWHERE cover of a great friends song, this is what I love about the singers in the Philippinens they help each other instead of fighting each other, luckily there are a few singers in the USA that are friends and not rivals, Mori has been very busy this year taking control of her own management and record company UNDERDOG music to give new artists a chance, and because of taking control this allows her to collaborate with other record companys around the World, in the last couple of years Mori has learned so much, and with Dave by her side they are a great team, have watched the Regine concert with the ladys on stage together the joy of singing Mori has with friends you just don't see it you feel it, that smile, this is why Mori is just the best, you hear the love of singing and that smile gives her voice that beautiful tone, sorry fellas just love Mori, so ENJOY your holidays, God bless. 😊
