I love straight arm lat pulldowns the most for the mind-muscle connection, but my gym doesn’t have a good setup for them and my lower back is bad. I had a lot of trouble feeling my lats on a standard cable lat pull down. It felt like too much forearms but maybe that was from rotating the shoulders too much. Recently, I am using a Hammer Strength lat pull down and for some reason, I get WAY better mind-muscle connection than the standard cable machine. I also use Versa Grips for my pulldowns, which has really helped because I’m not failing due to my forearms. After years of lifting, I feel like I am FINALLY learning to engage my lats.
Try doing a DB pullover but with a resistance band attached to the DB (pulling back over your head). Gives it constant tension and a better resistsnce curve
I was here to watch the Amazon’s lovely daughter. God bless ya need more women like you. Me mum was a masters degree in PE and anatomy. Love it or list it.

@@phoenixperformance1958 that’s hilarious haha we had a boxer who cut off his dread locks to make weight in an amateur bout and he still came up .2 over but they just agreed to run it anyways and didn’t even call it a catch weight. Not as strict in amateur boxing I guess
