Dang! My husband and I went to Biergarten for our date night last night (we’re AP, don’t live too far away, and go a ton). I never see anyone! Since I live close, I don’t stay at the resorts. I was considering our next date night to be at a resort restaurant, just to see if I might get lucky. So, I wonder if he was there yesterday checking out or checking in?

I am already LOVING this series! I hope you will show the proximity of the bus stops at the parks for these hotels. That makes a BIG difference in our decision as to where we will stay, how far we will need to walk to catch the bus after a long, hot, full day of fun at the parks.

Mother! We just got back from All stars music. It was perfect especially since we spent most of our time at the parks. Dying to see all the hotels for our next trip.
I love the murphy bed/table setup. I had it in my Pop Century room a few years ago. For someone that was travelling alone, it was great to have a decent sized table to use in the room.

I love the All Stars. For years I put off staying there thinking they were somehow “subpar” but because they are so affordable, I booked it and absolutely loved the resorts. Now when I am looking for a budget on property hotel I go there first. I think they are relaxing and fun. The rooms are great. 👍

Remember they’re beverage coolers not refrigerators. And don’t overstuff them All 3 all stars are exactly alike. And pop rooms are the same layout as well. I prefer pop due to gondola

Also a Disneyland person and am spoiled by the close proximity of everything. When I was planning our WDW trip last year, i was more than overwhelmed. I was researching every hotel I could. Not one hotel video was as thorough as yours. I decided on Art of Animation for the heavy theming for kiddos and access to the sky liner. I am happy that we stayed there. But even after a year of planning and UA-cam watching, I felt ill prepared. Especially with getting around so we paid for Lyft just to reduce my anxiety. So thankful you are making these vids for future WDW visitors and, maybe I’ll even return since you will have reviewed all Disney resort hotels. Thank you for being awesome, Chris. Hey Chris this is Matthias I have been really enjoying on your 20 days at the Disney World hotels. Just finished this one on All Star Sports which is very cool I think my favorite one is baseball.
Thank you Sir. I've stayed and many of the moderate to "luxury" resorts. It's funny how many of the food spots all look very similar. I love Disneyworlds' layout and the resorts. I'm partial to the Port Orleans and French Quarter. LOL Also at the airport if you go to the "Disney" section you can catch busses to them all. I'm sure you know, but it's worth mentioning.
Word to your Mother, lol. I'm not a baseball fan but that baseball hotel is pretty cool. I wonder if Chris will not recommend a Disney hotel, lol. Thank you so much. Can'r wait to see the rest and good luck with it.
I recently stayed at the All-Star sports resort in the football area. I know that the little coolers in the room I just meant to keep things chilled and it doesn’t really keep things cold. We had to get cooler and fill it with ice to keep wire stuff cold. We also had an issue with ants coming in our room since we were on the bottom floor.
I have some hot weather tips from the factory floor. (think 126 F with the heat index for humidity) Drinking a lot of water is great but you also need to take in electrolytes so sports drinks are also key. Salt intake is also necessary. I used to limit my salt intake because I'm a bigger guy. This was a mistake. I was sweating out more salt than I was taking in. This caused me to wake up in the middle of the night with horrendous leg cramps that were very hard to get rid of.

Please, make sure to buy the resort cup. It'll be good for 14 days once activated and it will save a lot of money. If people are just doing resort hopping, they could also buy the refillable mug....

Hi Chris!! I'm finally getting around to catching up on your videos. No good excuse or reason why I sort of drifted away a bit, I just did. But I'm back to catching up. I'm so going to try making my own tochos like you had in the End Zone Food Court. Those looked delicious. I also enjoyed seeing you covering about being able to catch either of the buses to whichever park you're going to. That's the size transit bus I'm blessed to help drive where I live. We call those signs on the bus "the head sign". Too bad you couldn't peak your head inside to show what the inside looked like.
So excited for your new adventure! This will be our family tv viewing for the next few weeks to help us plan for a trip with dad to Florida for the first time after thousands of trips to Disneyland. We appreciate you!

Way to go! One down, 19 to go! Gosh, for a VALUE hotel that seems really lovely!!! I'm a tad suprised they don't have hot tubs but I love that they have a little kiddie pool. I always think that's super important. Supercute theming and the room seems standard. Definitely no frills but super cute and would be so happy to stay there. Thanks Chris! Oh and I saw the secret word but I'm a day late. I'll try and do better!
Chris, one thing I'd like to mention about the buses at the Value "All Stars". If you are disabled, using a monility scooter or wheelchair, you may wait for several buses before you can get on one. U fortunately, not all the buses have ramps. The best tip I can give is to be there first, or wait until late morning. The same are for buses taking you back to the hotels. I had to wait for an hour or so, and sent my family ahead.
We’ve never experienced a bus without a ramp. The problem we have had is that there are only 2 spaces on each bus. If you have more than one scooter ahead of you then you have to wait for the next bus. Also, our experience is Sports is first pickup and first drop off which typically avoids this issue. However, the last time we stayed at Sports each all star had its own buses. Never had a problem getting on a bus. We did wait over an hour at the Polynesian one year to get a bus to HS. Poly was the last pickup with the Grand Floridian I believe and every handicapped spot was full every time a bus pulled up.
They can accommodate 3 scooters or wheelchairs. They can bring up the seats behind the driver. Disney does charter buses to help the busiest times. Those buses do not have ramps and you need to wait.
Thank you again for doing this series. This has been so helpful for me. The All-Star Sports Resort is where I booked our upcoming trip in October. We're so looking forward to it; we've been to Disneyland a number of times but this will be our first trip to Disney World ever and our first vacation in 5 years due to first the pandemic and then my dad's declining health (he passed in February). We don't have a lot of money at our disposal and the existence of the budget resorts is the only reason we're able to afford Disney World at all. I was in a bit of a buyer's remorse panic, though, when I read some less-than-complimentary reviews about All Star Sports AFTER I'd booked the trip. I was so thrilled when I saw you were doing these videos. A great deal of my anxiety has been lifted after watching this and seeing what the hotel actually looks like and what the transportation situation is like. We don't hang around the hotel when we go on a trip anyway; we plan to spend most of our time in the parks, so we don't really care about amenities too much. We just want a clean room and a place to grab a bite of breakfast, and this hotel looks like it checks both those boxes just fine. In fact, it looks nicer than we expected based on some of the reviews I read! We're planning on watching the rest of the videos and if we see something in one of the others that makes us think we'd be better off spending a bit more for a different place, I'm sure Brooklyn at Get-Away-Today can help us change our reservations (we always book through them for Disney, have for the past 30 years). We will be at All Star Music in a couple of weeks it is our first trip to WDW and I am really looking forward to your video on that resort so we can go there and already feel comfortable and know all there is to know about our hotel! My recommendation is to do the flush challenge when you first get to the room. That way you don't have to worry about remnants. If there are remnants, I think that automatically fails the room.

If you happen to buy wine at the gift shop, the cast members do have a corkscrew at the register by the hard liquor case. So you can get your wine opened if you didn't pack one
Two years ago, we stayed at one of the Disney’s hotel during our trip to WDW. We had such a great time exploring the different themes around the hotels. It was even more fun than the parks 😂! Does anyone else feel the same?

The Grand Floridian is home, but we have great memories of Pop Century.

Way to go! One down, 19 to go! Gosh, for a VALUE hotel that seems really lovely!!! I'm a tad suprised they don't have hot tubs but I love that they have a little kiddie pool. I always think that's super important. Supercute theming and the room seems standard. Definitely no frills but super cute and would be so happy to stay there. Thanks Chris! Oh and I saw the secret word but I'm a day late. I'll try and do better!
The Allstar sure has come a long ways since I was last there around 2000.
Chris, one thing I'd like to mention about the buses at the Value "All Stars". If you are disabled, using a monility scooter or wheelchair, you may wait for several buses before you can get on one. U fortunately, not all the buses have ramps. The best tip I can give is to be there first, or wait until late morning. The same are for buses taking you back to the hotels. I had to wait for an hour or so, and sent my family ahead.
We’ve never experienced a bus without a ramp. The problem we have had is that there are only 2 spaces on each bus. If you have more than one scooter ahead of you then you have to wait for the next bus. Also, our experience is Sports is first pickup and first drop off which typically avoids this issue. However, the last time we stayed at Sports each all star had its own buses. Never had a problem getting on a bus. We did wait over an hour at the Polynesian one year to get a bus to HS. Poly was the last pickup with the Grand Floridian I believe and every handicapped spot was full every time a bus pulled up.
They can accommodate 3 scooters or wheelchairs. They can bring up the seats behind the driver. Disney does charter buses to help the busiest times. Those buses do not have ramps and you need to wait.

Thank you again for doing this series. This has been so helpful for me. The All-Star Sports Resort is where I booked our upcoming trip in October. We're so looking forward to it; we've been to Disneyland a number of times but this will be our first trip to Disney World ever and our first vacation in 5 years due to first the pandemic and then my dad's declining health (he passed in February). We don't have a lot of money at our disposal and the existence of the budget resorts is the only reason we're able to afford Disney World at all. I was in a bit of a buyer's remorse panic, though, when I read some less-than-complimentary reviews about All Star Sports AFTER I'd booked the trip. I was so thrilled when I saw you were doing these videos. A great deal of my anxiety has been lifted after watching this and seeing what the hotel actually looks like and what the transportation situation is like. We don't hang around the hotel when we go on a trip anyway; we plan to spend most of our time in the parks, so we don't really care about amenities too much. We just want a clean room and a place to grab a bite of breakfast, and this hotel looks like it checks both those boxes just fine. In fact, it looks nicer than we expected based on some of the reviews I read! We're planning on watching the rest of the videos and if we see something in one of the others that makes us think we'd be better off spending a bit more for a different place, I'm sure Brooklyn at Get-Away-Today can help us change our reservations (we always book through them for Disney, have for the past 30 years). I can’t tell you how excited I am that you are doing this series! We will be at All Star Music in a couple of weeks it is our first trip to WDW and I am really looking forward to your video on that resort so we can go there and already feel comfortable and know all there is to know about our hotel! Thank you! I know this is a huge undertaking but I know it will be very helpful to a lot of us!

My recommendation is to do the flush challenge when you first get to the room. That way you don't have to worry about remnants. If there are remnants, I think that automatically fails the room.

If you happen to buy wine at the gift shop, the cast members do have a corkscrew at the register by the hard liquor case. So you can get your wine opened if you didn't pack one
Two years ago, we stayed at one of the Disney’s hotel during our trip to WDW. We had such a great time exploring the different themes around the hotels. It was even more fun than the parks 😂! Does anyone else feel the same?
