Found the demo yesterday, and enjoyed playing with it. It's a toy, not a game. Reminds very much of Townscaper. Very relaxing. I love how it combines your creativity with 'happy little accidents'. You can play it for 5 minutes, but I can see myself getting lost in this tiny world for way to much time 😄 Highly recommended, it's a free demo, everyone should give it a try 👍
"It's a toy not a game." I love that! When I first heard of this game, I thought it sounded kinda stupid. Like, what's the point? But the more I saw the more it intrigued me and now I can't wait to play it. Or, technically, play "with" it. Toys are fun! 😊
For the bushes you draw that have the flowers around them, if you take the eraser tool and just edge into the bushes a little, it turns the bushes into a flower bed. You can also stake the buildings on top of each other to create taller buildings/towers and/or to create concentric buildings/towers. You can also use this technique to create balconies.
Looks very fun and relaxing. It could also serve as a great worldbuilding tool if you’re a writer. I can already see myself trying to create cities from my stories and using the images as inspiration. Really excited for Tiny Glade ❤
Very nice homestead! Lovely! I had the demo installed literally 3 minutes after it launched on Steam and immediately got to work. I love the intelligence that they built into the tools and modifiiers, like the litte bird's nest you sometimes get on the roof when a second one connects at the same height as you showed early on. So far for me personally there are only 2 cons to the demo: The limited building space - gets maxed out pretty quick. And the limitation to 3 glades. You seem to be able to create more but getting back to them will be available only once the full game is out. The pros: Lots! ;) Tiny Glade is really the textbook example of a cozy game and what I will turn to to get away from a rough day for a while. One little hint: When you right-click a building on the field, you get all the modifiers on screen and don't have to pixel-peep for the pointer to turn into right contextual tool. Found that very helpful with finer structures or when things get packed in the glade.
I feel so stupid not realizing that you could stretch the buildings. So simple and yet I kept trying to stack the walls and couldn't understand why it didn't work lol. I'm glad I found your video :D.
Yes, it's a cool project. The problem is that without a goal and a game design task, it becomes boring after 10 minutes. They definitely need to come up with a list of tasks or some templates for fertilizing buildings so that you have a goal and creatively solve problems on the way to the goal Otherwise it will be a refund in 30 minutes.
It's not boring to me, I've played over 40 hours, for anyone bored with it, they should consider doing build challenges or objectives they decide themselves. I think if you get bored after ten minutes you're not really pushing your creativity and that's exactly what this kind of game is about. Building and being creative. I think implementing mandatory goals could be limiting.
Love the look of this game, I could see myself getting lost making whatever for hours. Did you read anywhere that this will only be available on Steam? Gonna have to check this out 🤙
What is the game though? In say minecraft you build and then you have to survive the night and monsters, in stardew valley you have your goals to achieve. Is this more of a simple cute house editor?
Me here looking at the video because the game is asking me for a driver update, knowing well that it will destroy my computer if I install it... 💀(I wish I was joking)
This is "EXACTLY" the type of game I was looking for.
This comment is eXACTly how I imagined..
Is it a game ? or a scene-modeling tool?
I hope it comes out for Xbox (consoles)

Exactly!! Super quaint, I was heavily comparing it to townscaper when I was playing
could be a legit tool if you could export it and clean it up. could speed up city building in some indie 3d platformer.
@@JackPorter if they used this engine or mechanic or whatever for something like that it’d be awesome. Like even for a shipbuilder, etc

Good to know thanks!
My kid and I love to play townscaper, he is going to lose his mind once he sees this demo. Thank you for such a calm showcase.
Thanks so much!
townscaper was the first game i ever bought on steam
@@Davidmakesvideos. It's a very relaxing game, you can build some really cool looking stuff in it.

It took me about six hours to realize right clicking gave me the controls 😅 and thank you for watching!!

Good point, it’s not for everyone!
doesn’t sound like your kinda game pal . The lack of a goal is part of the appeal, a feature not a flaw.

WHAT? I've got ~27,500 hours in the demo already! I can't wait for early access!
that is so awesome
They had me at the start with the parachuting sheep ☂🐑
If they have fountains, too, nothing is stopping me from buying this
Fountains are a good idea!
I wish we had this on (Android) phone.
This is adorable ❤
Give it a try!
Praying they release this game on console 🙏🏻

Only on steam for now, the developer said they’re working on a Mac version if that helps!
This is a Map Editor ...not really a game!
But it looks nice!

This game is written in Rust btw
add Zombies in woods...wink

Its a building game, the creative process is the part that's fun
Exactly: There is no game loop! ..its a sandbox.
Me here looking at the video because the game is asking me for a driver update, knowing well that it will destroy my computer if I install it... 💀(I wish I was joking)
The game asks me for a driver update too, every time I open it. You should try launching it anyways!
When you said "...my graphics card is cooking right now...", what did you mean? It ran flawlessly for me, and I saw ~680 FPS in 4K Ultra, native.
Is this gonna be free in mobile😢
Omg this game looks adorable and gorgeous 🥹🤎 I hope there’s a PS5 release in the future!! This is definitely a game for me 🥰
Yes! This game would be beautiful on PS5 or Switch, maybe one day 🤷🏻♂️
