In case you're looking for similar sounds while you wait for this game, I think it's very similar to the sound of wooden balls in water. There's ASMR videos out there with nothing but that sound
This video has me thinking about how amazing it would be if you could actually play this as a colony sim game and develop a village into a city with this kind of building option. It would just be fantastic. Also, imagine if it had a procedurally generated map with random locations where you could send out a team of adventurers or a band of soldiers from your starting village to explore, visit other towns and cities, trade, and complete quests. My mind is just running with all sorts of ideas after watching this video. What a great video!
I would buy that game in a heart beat. I would pay more for that then any AAA game these days. Why? Because i see the passion and hard work put into it. If this ever becomes a reality (like a DLC), i would absolutely, positively love it.
Sounds like a great idea, but it's just one of those ideas that we'll never see in recent years because of how unfeasible it is even with a AAA studio working behind it. It would take literally hundreds of thousands of hours.
I hope so, you see games like Townscaper where they could add so much more, and in reality not much is needed to make a huge impact on the game, but it doesn't feel like they want to
Wines growing up walls in time are such a beautiful detail. I would love to see more life interacting with the buildings. It can be tiny humans walking inside structures or seen behind windows, or a knight on his horse riding pass by as you build more and more, or wild animals checking the place up. Just a feeling of living things acknowledging the creation happening.
I would absolutely love that. I love what we have already and the vines are a great touch, but i want more. Think of the ambiance. What stories you could tell. Small woodland creatures lurking on the side of the woods, while a knight rides into a small town at the foot of a hill. People going on with there day as usual, as the knight bolts through the small town. The knight galloping on he's horse toward the foot of the hill, where a great castle stands defiant.
Same. I noticed immediately that the tower sizes were all slightly different. Unfortunately that kind of thing would really impact my enjoyment. I would have loved to see a grid option and/or copy and paste feature when building matching structures.

10 minutes and I'm already in love with this game... The sounds of the environment, the sounds of all actions are done elegantly and very soothing. I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING... ahem. Sorry for that. This could be a very nice way to make a chill dnd campain around. Especially with expanded build area. You could make a whole sprawling country side, with small villages and groves dotting the land. Interiors would probably be hard, but if done right, could allow you to make amazing places. @@joonashaav6531 yeah i get equally excited about dnd lol i can only imagine how great it would all look, so immersive. till then ill keep using Dungeon Alchemist
Idk if there already is, but it'd be nice if they added a snap function so you can align windows n stuff better, also maybe a copy and paste function so you don't have to, for example, build a new tower to put beside the first one and then have to match it perfectly manually.
Only 2 nitpicks because the game looks peaceful and beautiful, is if the stone stairs were further out (they look very steep lol), and being able to hold shift or control to align windows with others horizontally or vertically. that would drive some people's OCD wild
This is REARLY cute! I love it! I just wish that you could enable to see and edit the lenght/high values directly.. It would be easier to make symetrical towers, instead of just eyeballying it. The same goes to window placemente. It would be nice to be able to fix them to a certain angle, for exemple, 1 window every 90 degrees in the tower or something like that. I know it is gridless, but it would be nice to be able to enable a grid sometimes >.>
It would be nice to have an option to imput a direct value. Would make it easier to get things exactly right, but also still have the freedom to mold as you see fit.
This looks beautiful, I never heard of this game before but omg its so satisfying and relaxing. I am wondering if it will be just a castle builder tho or it has more of a gameplay
I also just found this and it is great. I would love to be able to do more with a larger area, so i could make a small part of a world. Like villages and so on. Tho i don't think there will be any other gameplay options.
I want to fill a whoooooole map by myself in this game :D add trees and decorative elements like benches and fields and barns and... well, it would be so amazing to build towns and take screenshots for our pen and paper roleplaying group o/
graphics are beautiful, I want to be inside the gameworld. Would love to someday see this made into a full colony sim, like Foundation or what Distant Kingdoms could have been
THIS IS WHAT IM SAYING...ahem'. Ye i completly agree. i don't just wana make a single castle but a whole city or a coutry side. It would be soo cool to have difrent materials (like wood) and the option to make the play area larger so you can build more freely. Also if they added people, it would be so fun to just watch. Especially if they do interesting things and have rutines.

Idk if there already is, but it'd be nice if they added a snap function so you can align windows n stuff better, also maybe a copy and paste function so you don't have to, for example, build a new tower to put beside the first one and then have to match it perfectly manually.
This game is the perfect setup for a balders gate 3 like game. The graphics and UI would make it a hit
Since the game creates castles with individual bricks, you could enable physics for destruction
Only 2 nitpicks because the game looks peaceful and beautiful, is if the stone stairs were further out (they look very steep lol), and being able to hold shift or control to align windows with others horizontally or vertically. that would drive some people's OCD wild
procedural assets are the future of gaming
Imagine this is what environment artists working with video games do for work each day :P
+1 👍
same vibes as townscaper, v good vibes.
I love this so much, I just wish the music fit the theme more!
The sounds of this game are so appealing.
I can’t wait for this to come out.
This looks so good. And the sounds are so weirdly satisfying xD.
damn wish it was released at the time of me finding this, ill sadly probably never see it again
0:25 i have goosebumps
This feels like the person has played the game like once before filming this
impressive video. can you make it so that you could see your other castles in the distance, behind a light fog? I bet it would look good
I can physically feel my blood pressure go down.
Tho i don't think there will be any other gameplay options.
its just a castle builder
I want to fill a whoooooole map by myself in this game :D add trees and decorative elements like benches and fields and barns and... well, it would be so amazing to build towns and take screenshots for our pen and paper roleplaying group o/
Tilt shift effect would be dope
Luv the music and art style ! Nintendo vibes
I think connecting towers would be awesome!
graphics are beautiful, I want to be inside the gameworld. Would love to someday see this made into a full colony sim, like Foundation or what Distant Kingdoms could have been
THE SHEEP
Can't wait to buy this game!
this looks like so much fun i can't wait!!!!!
An option to export what you have build as a file for 3d printing, 3d modeling, making games, etc. would be incredibly wonderful!
I can’t wait for this game 😭
Beatiful graphic
We need MMORPG game like Artistic design
Génial, j'ai hâte de le tester via une démo
I want a full city builder with this system
THIS IS WHAT IM SAYING...ahem'. Ye i completly agree. i don't just wana make a single castle but a whole city or a coutry side. It would be soo cool to have difrent materials (like wood) and the option to make the play area larger so you can build more freely. Also if they added people, it would be so fun to just watch. Especially if they do interesting things and have rutines.
Me too xd Like Cities Skylines but with castles
