The "misleading from other content creators" made me instantly subscribe, thank you dude! There is so much misleading information there because the incentives are screwed, they rely on an ever-revolving door of new players that don't know good from bad (like me), but it took me a couple of weeks to be able to tell bullshit from truth and now I absolutely hate those content creators. Is it worth it? Probably since they keep doing it, but such dishonest behavior.
Thanks for the comment! The community seems to be quite divided on the "misleading" part, I think the veterans with thousands of hours would instantly know that they cannot fully trust the div/hour from others. But it doesn't change the fact that it misled most players into thinking they can get 15-20 div/hour, but in reality when they tried it out it is significantly less than that when it comes to actual divs in the bank, which is a very big disappointment
The only thing dishonest about others videos is the thumbnail, I haven't watched a single atlas strat video where in the video itself the creator said exactly what to expect only with THEIR setup, and talked about how the profit calcs aren't always accurate so don't take it at face value, they are just giving you the rough estimate profit, and aren't lying about it.
@@Subxenox15 maybe we are watching different creators… I have seen too many of them saying “this is a 20div/hour farm after subtracting the cost” with wealthy exile full value as their basis
Great content! We need more creators showing the actual scenarios. More time trading low value items = more time wasted in hideout :) For harvest (CR/non-CR without the imbued harvest option) my suggestion is just to quickly clear mobs until the first altar comes out then immediately enter harvest, instead of clearing full map for all altars. Your time taken will be shorten down to ~3mins per map and your juice amount won't take that much of a hit, compared to fully clearing the map then only doing harvest which will take you ~6mins per map.
Considering that Haevest is just 3 currencies to accumulate and sell, I would say it is the best strategy, you don't need to collect a bunch of scarabs or essences. Would it be possible for you to test a more expensive strategy for Harvest?
Very true, harvest is indeed the easiest to sell! I will definitely try to test harvest with cornucopia scarab, but it might be a few weeks after this as I also plan to test out some strategies that very little other content creators have tested first, like Alva with timelines scarab and the new adaptation essence scarab
@@gametalktavern I tested Alva's new scabab a lot, the one that generates an extra map at the end os good. In my opinion it's ALWAYS worth it if you have the two main rooms, if you only have the Locus it's only worth it if the scarab isn't costing too mucho. The incursion can even be made on T1 maps, enter quickly (on small maps), do alva and leave immediately.
Thanks for the detailed video with realistic expectations for the average player. Can I also ask if you can test conqueror/guardian map farming? Would be interested if that is also being inflated.
Thanks! Sure I will add that to the list of farming methods to test, but that will be after the high cost versions of the 3 strategies in this video ;)
very nice guide. very well explained for new players. the strongbox one, if you were lucky to get divines chance from league mechanic, it will be very profitable.
An alternate way to farm essence is to focus on just the essences in the map and leave, no extra content like incursion. You'll hit bulk prices much quicker, and may be more profitable overall granted you can reach the bulk threshold.
I have been waiting for such a video for a long time! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and thoughts. It really helps new players like me to earn currency faster without losing our bank while trying to do so. Liked and subscribed! Can I check if these strats are still worth if we do not have the 5th map device slot?
For strongbox, you can probably remove one ambush scarab and still be ok. Same goes with essence, just remove one essence scarab. For harvest, you can remove the sacrifice fragment. All of them are still viable without 5 map slot IMO.
yup indeed, CR means crop rotation. if you spec into CR in the atlas passive tree, all the crops will start at tier 1 and every time you harvest a crop, crops of other colours will get random tier increase. so it become a mini game and you can also target more valuable colour crops
The drop chance is quite low, and you will need all 4 voidstones for a realistic chance for it to drop. The best way is probably use cartography scarab and strongbox farming combined. But T17 is actually harder than Uber pinnacle bosses, so if you are just looking to unlock the fifth slot on your map device, it’s quicker to just buy a T17 carry service from TFT discord
Ok...Why are you trying to make it seem like they are being disingenuous with the profits per hour? Almost every single video I see when they talk about the profit, they frontload it with disclaimers saying "This might not be completely accurate" or "I removed all of the hard to trade items from the tabs" or "Keep in mind I have close to max IIQ/IIR and a mirror tier build". Sure, there may be a few people who lie, but for the most part they don't try to hide anything. Do you have a specific recent video of someone doing this, and NOT giving any disclaimers? Thats the important part. If they tell you to take it with a grain of salt, and explain that the calc might not be accurate for profits, then it's not dishonest.
I think new players can get confused with those videos, BCS even with disclaimers they will expect to get at least close to the number. And the div/hour is only one way to look at a strat. I prefer to look to ROI of an strat than the time. BCS every mapping or bossing strat gets better if u understand that hideout floor is lava. The player need to know what to grab and things like that. So I believe that there's a gap in knowledge from basic poe and farming strats on basic behavior. Like: it is worth to pick an chaos on the ground? Probably yes. If I have an super MF build: probably no. Things like that that sounds obvious to us veterans sound weird for a new player. That doesn't prove that those farming channels lie. But most ppl looking at those videos are new / medium players that are still learning. At least when I was learning the game the big unique was atziry acuity, and I was like " well if I do this strat" I will get this in x hours. But I wasn't good at the game, so sometimes I felt that some strat was bad BCS. But I reality I was bad. Also, 95% of poe has somekind of rng. Even safe strats can get a little dry sometimes. I like crop rotation harvest, usually it is consistent. But sometimes I get bad streaks. A new player could get unlucky and think this is a bad strat BCS of only 5 maps. Also another thing that ppl tend to forget is using builds that are not entirely designed for that strat or are simply slower than the video.
There is certainly some elements of build incompatibility, slow farming, or wasting time picking up the wrong loot. Those I can accept. But what I’m referring to is for example if I pick up 5 low tier scarabs that price at 0.5c each throughout the farm. I’m not gonna spend time selling them to get 2.5c. But wealthy exile will pick up values like that and it adds up very significantly
What i can tell you with 100,% certainty is that if you bulk selling corpses/tattoos/allflames or bubble currency using wealthy exile you losing money big time
Really solid video, most poe content is made by 10,000hr+ players and it feels that way, this feels like a good bridging of the gap.
Thank you! :D

which strat you recommend for beginer?(currently using ice nova the same as you)
Harvest without crop rotation is probably the most accessible for beginners :)

hi,
for farm harvest what do you call "no CR or CR" ?
i think CR means Crop Rotation which is a large atlas node in your atlas skill tree
yup indeed, CR means crop rotation. if you spec into CR in the atlas passive tree, all the crops will start at tier 1 and every time you harvest a crop, crops of other colours will get random tier increase. so it become a mini game and you can also target more valuable colour crops

and what would be your suggestion to improve the strategies?

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
5 divine drop in 40 maps, thats just rngesus on your side, some do 100 maps and dont even get a divine
are they running at the exact same set up?
Ssf here. No way you clear 100 yellow chiseled maps and not drop a divine. Never happens.
Thanks for calling it out
