Danse Macabre - out October 27 - is the soundtrack to Duran Duran’s ultimate Halloween party. Across 13 tracks the band unearth bright melodies from the darkness, threading together new songs, themed covers, and newly reimagined versions of their own ‘spooky’ classics.

I disagree. Hell even if you played bass with your toes or a pick. She has a really distinctive sound and her basslines are incredibly effective and catchy for them being so simple. Shes pretty spectacular in my opinion. Especially for her age. And if you watch older videos of her playing on stage around the age of 17/18 she plays slap and all kinds of styles too. Her playing style at the moment serves her band. Her music. Not everything and every song in the world has to be a show off you know.

Few bass players have a distinctive sound (BTW Bobby Vega is one of them and he uses pick).
She is just famous for the missing dresses during the live exhibitions... and the way she puts the hands on the bass is so... terrible and the right hand is not the worst!
Maneskin are a commercial product (if you were Italian you would know this, if you are italian and you are forgetting this is a shame) and all this kind of collaborations are based on agreements between the music labels behind the bands.
