- Join us on a day at Ewetopia Farms, where we focus on the smaller achievements that make a big difference. While the weather may not be ideal for planting crops, we make the most of our time by tackling various tasks. In this heartwarming video, we roll up the barn curtains for the summer, complete the vaccination process for our first group of lambs, and introduce the Dorset lambs to the paddock for the very first time. Additionally, we take you through the preparations of our vegetable garden. However, the highlight of the day is witnessing the incredible moment when Spartacus, our injured lamb, takes his first wobbly steps towards independence. Witness the power of determination and the beauty of progress in this inspiring journey at Ewetopia Farms. #EwetopiaFarms #SmallAccomplishments #FarmLife

YAY the Lamb is starting to walk, Hopefully both the ewes adn him will be ok soon 💙💛💚
We'll definitely keep you posted on their progress!🙂
That lamb is getting stronger. Yay
Spartacus is a fighter!!😂 If cuteness could help him walk, he would already be participating in lab races!🏆 Thanks for a great video and stay safe!!🙏❤
He is a tough little guy for sure!

Oh my Spartacus and his little sounds. Too cute. He almost went azz over teakettle at one point 😂😂😂.
I bet your garden will do really well this year.
THANK EWE!!
I know! It's hard not to get attached to him!🥰
The lambs are really big now.Good luck with your downsizing. How you have a great day.❤️🐑
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Im so glad that May found a place that she likes! 137 seems like a good keeper. The sheep look so happy on the pasture, they really enjoy it. It's good getting those vaccines finished up. I really like your curtains. It must feel like spring in those barns now! Spartacus looks great on his hooves! I bet he will walk one day soon! He makes the sweetest little noise. Glads daughter sure is special. Sorry about your truck and the shearer not coming. Gardening looked like so much fun! Have a great holiday Monday, see you tomorrow! ❤🐑
Happy holiday to you too! We are working today. No holidays for farmers 😁
Good afternoon Arnie and Lynn. The lambs are a little timid about the outdoors. That Dorset ram is quite handsome indeed. They are so beautiful out on the pasture. I know it is then a parasite problem but so enriches their quality of life. Love the tune with the vaccinations. Perfect for the roundupbb😂😂. Wow. Peggy gets along pretty well. Oh hi Little Mister. Still such a sweet baby. Awww. Little Spartacus. He is quite a fighter. Keep trying little guy. He definitely is loving his bottle. Such pretty eyes Gladiator was a champion this year. Pretty girl. Arnie loves telling us about history. You just have to laugh. You should get some vegetables this year. Yum yum. The shepherd with his dog. The rams have a proud look about them. Great video. Thank you. Big big hugs to you both. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😉😉😉❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Always love your commentary. Thanks!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have a couple of baby Nigerian dwarf kids and they are 6 days old when they feed from their mom they make little noises and it’s so cute.
Yes, those happy sounds are just amazing!🥰
That's really awesome news about finding a buying for the January lambers. All of your first-timers were in later breeding groups, so you'll get to keep all those improvements you've made in your Dorsets (especially the feet and legs). Unless, of course, you decide to sell more. I'm so glad that you are downsizing--but on YOUR terms.
Yes, that was our thought, too. There were a couple of first timers in that group but the majority are in the second group plus we have our ones that just turned a year old who we'll be breeding this fall. We're still wanting to sell a lot more but it's a start. We would like to get to about 150 breeding ewes.
Is Arnie planning on planting tulips, in honour of his ancestry? Naw... He's looking forward to all the delicious vegetables that Lynn will prepare.
That's more like it!🤣🤣
Glad the little injured one is making progress even though slow. Hope his mom clears her placenta. Is Arnie creating a prosthetic partial leg for Peggy?
Ancient peoples were smart, they used well what they had. I’ve got a few veggies started, but the weather has been soo weird, with the weather popping cold after being really nice.
It's finally warming up here now so we're starting to work heavily on the fields for Arnie and in the gardens for me. No, we are not making a prosthetic lwg for Peggy. It would not be practical on a farm where there are so many obstacles. She doesn't know she's different so we'll let her keep thinking that 😁
Good evening from MN 🦃
Morning!
Awww Spartacus is so precious!! The whole farm looks bright and beautiful ❤ Nice spot for the planters! Wow you don't do anything in a small way. Lol. What are those planters made from?
You two wonderful folks have a lovely day!!
The planter boxes are actually the casings from some old barn fans we had laying around!😆
@@EwetopiaFarms Very clever!!
Lynn are you going to keep Little Mister? Or sell him to a new home, he'll make a nice gentle ram for someone for sure.🥰🥰
He would only be good for a pet home, so until one of those comes around, he'll be staying here
@@EwetopiaFarms Cool, i hope he finds a pet home soon.
do you take the ticks off the sheeps
They never get ticks
🤍
some lambs and sheeps are scared of you and ernie
I would say none are scared but others are checking us out to ensure we are OK to be around. We do have around 400 lambs 😁
Forgot to ask what did the ewe have that used to jump from Gladiator pen to Knockouts pen? Are you going the test the lamb(s) to see who their father is? How many lambs were born this lambing season? How many did you end up losing? 🐑❤️🐏
If I recall, it was a Gladiator lamb very obviously. Luckily for us, the Glad lambs and Knockout lambs look quite different 🙂
So good to hear it was Glads lamb after all. That Ewe was a little diva, always breaking the rules. Loved to watch when Arnie would chase her back to the right pen. Seems like there are some Dorset lambs that are gonna be stinkers this year. And some of the Suffolk lambs too! Going to be fun to watch them grow up this year. How are Thelma and Louse doing ? And Hot Lips?
Everyone is doing great, including those three!😁
how is some sheeps are blacker wool but eventually go white
Those are the Suffolks. The adults have short black hair on their legs, ears and faces, and the lambs are born with short black hair all over. As they grow up their long white wool grows in on their heads, tails, bodies and upper legs.
@@alisoncummins2726 not all
That is the breed type
