You are a skilled teacher. Your photography of the closeup work is extremely helpful, and your verbal explanations of why you do certain steps in a particular way help me to understand the importance of paying attention to your details. I love these designs!
Best wire wrap wrap tutorial ive seen yet. Every step of the way was explained and demonstrated flawlessly. Even a beginner could watch this and grasp it all. Much appreciated coming from a fellow artist/craftsman myself
Usually select watch after starting of shared lessons as so much to learn, see & want to try making, but I cannot stop watching all of yours. Absolutely love these Sun & Moon creations, so beautiful 💖. I have only gotten watching too much UA-cam l, it's worse than addition to FB & insta because spend lot of my time watching or saving & neglect everything else away from Yt!😮 Love the Moon's spectacular waves/curves 💖 I'm only able to like via TV and cannot see details often referred to by others for further information, so glad get to see all yours! You're kindly shared lessons are always appreciated, inspiring & enjoyable 🙂 Not wanting to be negative or ungrateful about your kindness.... No offence, I'm not a fan of background music! Please don't take it as mean, only my thoughts l. Thanks for all lessons 💖🙂
I made matching pendants from this. They came out great, I wish I could share pictures.. I use Facebook though, not IG.. Thank you for the idea, you teach these so well ❤
Wow, you are amazing! Great design, great tutorial too. Thank you, I appreciate you making this video and sharing your talent! My Granddaughter is going to love this so much! Got the base made, going to try and finish it. You are #Epic 🙋♥️✝️🇺🇲
Suggestion for anyone trying to make these beautiful earrings.....use 20g fornyour base wire, and 24 for your weaving wire. The gauges she is using are very hard to manipulate, and dont really need the strength as earrings. They will be much easier to make if you use smaller gauges.
I don’t have any round 18 gauge, so I’m using 20 gauge square and 22 round. Woo, it is difficult, but I’m getting there. I hope they turn out, but even if they don’t, it’s good practice, and I’ll keep trying until I get it right. Thank you for this video tutorial. I really appreciate all your tutorials ❤️
I am so glad to find this tutorial! I have seen these earrings online but I know they wont arrive as nice as they look. I'd rather make them myself & I have a great idea for the beads. I'm going to use Rainbow Moonstone and Oregon Sunstone for the moon and sun respectively. Thank you!
Ok! I love these, but i used 18ga with 22ga and it didn't come out right. With 6mm bead it wants to wrap around twice, 8mm bead wrap so only 5 peaks show. I went to 10 mm and i had to really squish the pattern together and it was still a little big. So what did i do wrong? Hope you can help me!😊
When I use a 6mm bead I have to many bursts. Ugh, going to remove one of them and hope for the best. This is super cute though and thanks for the tutorial
Wonderful tutorial, ty!! Can you plz confirm, is the 18g wire you are using 1mm? Because people post from all over the world, I never know if they are using AWG (used b the states) or SWG (used by most other countries) and of course the sizes of wire are very different between the two. Thx so much!
excellent! i have tried to do wire wrapping myself i bought some bronze 1mm wire but it just does not keep shape it seems to bounce everywhere and i just cannot do it. how is it possible?
Yeah bronze can be difficult to work with. You should start with copper. Dead soft. Or you could even get coated aluminum wire which is cheaper and softer. It's good for practicing!
Just made these, didn't have 18ga. so I used 20ga. Didn't have 22ga so I used 24ga. Using smaller wire, so I used a slightly smaller bead, it worked out. I think next time I'll try 16ga and 20ga, as these seem pretty flimsy.
Copper and silver will naturally oxidize as it's exposed to the air. Most wire artists will oxidize it ourselves because we can polish it up really nicely and it brings out all kinds of details and highlights in the weaves. It's not a hard rule, but it's recommended for a professional, finished look.
I really like this design. Unfortunately the only way I could watch it was to turn the sound off, as I just couldn't bear the loud music. I hope this is constructive but could you consider just dispensing with the drum machine or turning the music way down? I notice someone else made the same comment so it isn't just me! :)
I've changed the volume of my background music in my tutorials since this one. Unfortunately I cannot edit this one specifically. Hopefully with mute and closed captioning, you can still learn the design!
In the top right corner of the video is a little gear. Tap that gear to pull up settings and you can change the playback speed all the way down to .25 times.
Great tutorial! I made a beautiful pair of earrings from this. The music in the background could be a little distracting and I'd love for it to be calmer
I love watching you work, but the fast-forward on your camera makes it hard for my eyes to keep up. It’s also a bit difficult to see your fingers and exactly what you’re doing. Love the earrings, though!
@@MicheleJolie I've changed how i do tutorials since then. For what it's worth, you can use the little gear button to pull up the settings and slow the speed down to as low as .25x.

18 guage and 22 gauge ❤

Try an 8mm maybe?
God bless you too!!
Amazing!
Very nice
I love this! What does it mean to oxidize and polish?
Can you please tell me how long to make the wires and how many of the peaks to make for a 14mm bead? Thank you!
you mentioned using soft wire I order para wire in 18 and 28 gauge but it didn't mention if it was soft how would I find this out? gorgeous earrings x
I'm not very familiar with parawire, unfortunately.
@@cleftoftherockcreations4289 thank you anyway x

As far as I recall, yes, 18 gauge is 1mm.
SUPER 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Genial genial genial
How do you harden the metal without taking away any of the shine of the stone?
excellent! i have tried to do wire wrapping myself i bought some bronze 1mm wire but it just does not keep shape it seems to bounce everywhere and i just cannot do it. how is it possible?

Does wired jewelry need to be oxidized to be worn?

I agree, the music was awful and not necessary.
Che spesso ha il filo in mm?
1mm
Love your work but can you slow the speed down just a bit ?
In the top right corner of the video is a little gear. Tap that gear to pull up settings and you can change the playback speed all the way down to .25 times.
Hello, pourriez vous me donner les tailles de fils svp j'ai essayer de traduire mais sans succès !
Love your tutorial, except that I find the background music very distracting.
Moon looks easier... think I’ll make it first 😂
It is definitely easier! Lol
I just need to order some of that beautiful copper wire .
I just wish the moon wasn't sped up so fast

OMG never mind! I just counted my peaks and I have 7 peaks! I'm going to go back to school! However, 7 peaks works with 10mm bead! My bad!😏
💜💜💜💜💜😍😚
Great tutorial! I made a beautiful pair of earrings from this. The music in the background could be a little distracting and I'd love for it to be calmer
If you watch my newer video, I've greatly lowered the volume of the background music.

You can slow the video down to as low as .25x. Just tap the gear in the corner to see the option.
Love the tutorial, but really don't like that music.
Don’t like background music
Had to abandon watching due to the terrible music. Sorry
Your loss. 🤷🏼♀️
