    I'm not sure if it's on my end or yours, but the sound quality is distorted. These earrings are wonderful. I can't wait to make them. As always I am grateful to you for sharing your designs. ❤

      Thank you so much for letting me know! I think it's a tiny bit muffled for the intro because I was holding my camera, but the rest of the tutorial sounds clear to me. Let me know what you think!

    You are so talented and a great teacher. I wonder, have you ever made a wire seashell? I think it would be so pretty but can't figure out where to start.

      Thank you! I tried making a tiny one for the first time this summer and remember it being more challenging than I imagined, but I'd love to give it another go! I think a larger version may be easier to work with too 🐚 💙

    I have a question about liver of sulfur. Is it one of those horrible toxic smelling things.
    You know the one that you have to paddle out into the middle of the closest lake to use, because if you use it in your garage, the neighbors will call the cops for ruining their sixth party this summer.

      Omg hold on, let me catch my breath a minutes from laughing 😂😂 Tbh it smells like a bottle of farts after someone ate rotten eggs but that's just because sulphur is a naturally stinky thing..there's no way around it. Another way you can do it if you want a fun experiment is too crush a boiled egg in a jar and suspend the copper earrings in the jar (like on a tiny wire hooked on the side) then close the jar and wait a day or two. The results are less controllable but you'll see the copper darkening from the sulphur in the eggs. You can clean it with steel wool to remove it from the surface, leaving the darken color in the grooves. Have fun and don't forget to pinch your nose! 💙

      @@abbeyroadcreations I edited my comment because I spelled things wrong and I always mess up my comments.
      Firstly thank you for offering the chance to ask a question, thats really nice of you. Secondly you are awesome for answering so quickly. That shows your a kind, and considerate person, who I want to follow.
      Thirdly, I'm truly happy that you laughed.🤣 I love making people laugh.
      BTW, I'm not even joking about the neighbor. This neighbor called the cops on a neighbor 4 doors down. When their female dog peed on their lawn, leaving a brown spot. 😳 Can you even imagine?? People be weird 😕
      Egg smell is not going to go over well in this house. Not even a little bit😂
      Do you have any other suggestions? If toxic, I can definitely do it outside and get the appropriate PPD.

      Sorry forgot. So I did your project yesterday for this post. I was short on beads, and wire, because I just came back from vacation, and I can't find anything.
      So you said to show you our projects on your Instagram. Mine's not terribly pretty but I was wondering if you still like to see it? I like to practice first with some garbage wire, before I use my copper or silver.

    • @abbeyroadcreations
      @abbeyroadcreations  26 днів тому +1

      It's not considered toxic in the sense that you need to wear a mask. (Opening a window is recommended though, and please follow all given instructions that come with it) The smell really only lasts a few minutes while you're using the solution and then you put the lid back on the jar and it's gone. If you mix the liver of Sulphur gel in the hot water while you're outside, I really doubt a neighbor would smell it and if they do, just apologize for having an upset stomach 😂
