This video is exactly what I needed, my wife and I just visited telluride and we miss it so much. We both want to move to Colorado, and we've had so much negative feedback from others about it being unrealistic, but we think we can do it so we are doing our best to make it a reality, thanks for sharing and encouraging!!

Sweet video! I just got back from hiking in the San Juan Mountains. They are one of my favorite places on earth and I drove a round trip of 1,600 miles from southeast Arizona to do that. I haven’t spent time in Telluride though; I always stay in Ouray and take advantage of the hot springs after a long day of hiking 🙂 I agree with you that I feel truly blessed when I am enjoying all that amazing natural splendor. It does feel like heaven on earth. We are lucky to be able to reach these high places. Take care of your body and it will always reward you. I have just discovered your channel. Thanks for sharing so much of yourself.

I just spent almost 3 weeks in the Silverton area..did the Kendal Mountain race, watched Hard Rock and hiked and ran a lot of the local trails. Ive been trying to get some altitude in for my November trek To Mt. Everest Base Camp. I did not get a chance to see Telluride...seeing your video I need to put that town on my bucket list. loved the video...

Lovely area. You should check out Mt Rosa, near Pikes Peak. We had that about 40m into a 50m. It was absolutely brutal.

I recently subscribed to your Channel and really enjoying your videos. This one brought back fond memories of when I lived in Telluride many years ago. The downtown area pretty much looks the same although I'd heard of development around the outskirts. Thank you!

There is a little development in Telluride, but it still has the small mountain town charm. I didn’t even recognize Silverton when I was there yesterday

road tripping through Colorado in a few weeks and I remembered you loving Telluride and found my way back to this video. If you had to recommend just 1 or 2 runs / hikes to experience in Colorado what would they be?

**Wow, the resemblance to my home state of Delaware is uncanny! Well, except for the mountains, and the elevations over 200ft, and the wide open spaces, and the wildflower filled meadows, and the stands of evergreens, and the unmolested natural state of the land, and the clean air... Other than that, it's absolutely identical!**
