Love all your videos...especially the ones with the kids in them. I mix my mica with a little alcohol, then mix in the base...takes let stirring for me...so no crazy amount of bubbles to disperse.

I watch these videos because my wife makes melt and pour. I just wanted to say "I like the kids in the background!". Her videos always involve a stove with a dishwasher noise and kids in the background! A working mom. Nothing wrong with it so quit being selfish people because of the noise. That's what the replay button is for.

I just started making MP soaps for a sahm hobby& for my family, I've usually just been using liquid castille to make soap, washes, shampoos etc. anyways, thanks to your videos, I've made my first few batches of mp bar soaps! I love how detailed you are AMD absolutely adore hearing those sweet little voices calling you mama. sounds just like my home while I'm making my soaps.lol mama mama mama.lol haha. except I have little squeaky girl mama's.lol she's my little mouse. anyhoo, can you pleeeease tell me how you are able to mix in your colors and pour into molds without it solidifieinh on you so quickly? I use a double boiler and as soon as I pour it into my pouring cup it starts to harden and drops little clumps into my molds then I have to stick it back into the db before I could finish pouring the rest of my mold. what am I doing wrong? please please please give me some advice. I'd really appreciate it so much. thank you!

why my melted soap always very fast get hard even I keep stir it before I add in colouring , essential oil... etc???
I read many website said that must within 40-50degree then only add in the colour or essential oil... am I right?

Hey Jen! Love watching you make soap. I have a question about the MP... How long can the soap embeds be out before putting them in an air tight container? Avoiding the sweating? Also would love to know if the whipped MP hardened up like enough for packaging?? Probably not shrink wrap but in a plastic container that keeps the soap stable... Tfs! Thanks for the help!!😀

Luved the video! Thank your taking your time. Most videos are so fast you dont get the info installed in your brain. I have a couple questions. The fish are in the soap for quite a few baths before it wears to the centre before the kids can play with them correct? And is the glitter ever get into their eyes. I love the concept but you have kids so you would know best.

Your are cutting soap without a chopping board above your cooking plate... As a customer I am not sure how I would feel about buying that batch of soap. The sound quality of the video is super annoying. Too much background noise. Its hard to follow what your doing.

I would suggest waiting until nap time. Sorry, I stopped watching after about 10 seconds.

I am sorry to say this, but the quality of the video is horrible. All the noise in the background and the unscripted pauses, just makes it really not fun to watch.

Julia Van Gorder Scripted and quiet is not Jen's style. It doesn't take away from her knowledge. I am soaping now myself successfully with the help of the info she shared FOR FREE! There are plenty of other soaping tutorials on UA-cam if you don't enjoy these.

I wasn't questioning her knowledge. However, if she wants to reach a wider audience, she might want to consider a few changes to how she "produces" her videos. Why do you feel the need to defend her knowledge?

I defend her because she is a person with feelings. She already has 2 well established businesses. She is not on UA-cam to make a living, drum up a following or create perfect videos. She's literally just sharing what she has learned with others.
I am free to defend her just as you are free to share your opinion. I'm not speaking negatively, I just think that here on UA-cam some people don't consider the person on the other end of their comments.

And I appreciate her efforts and her willingness to share. My point was that you don't need to defend her or her knowledge, nobody is attacking her or questioning her expertise.
