The fin would have similar applications to a classic Greenough model but with a slightly tailored base and tip width for speed and a little thicker foil for quick action and maneuverability. The thicker foil cuts down allows a little less flex and eliminates the jerky wobble a flexy fin can produce. There are better nose riding templates out there but for supercharging a board for good waves without that draggy feel...this is the fin. 7.5 to 8.5 for a smaller log or midlength and 9-9.5 for a longboard. The 7.5 works really well on my 10'6 and above gliders. Hope that helps!
