It didn't exactly surprise me, but I'm glad you're going to homeshool! I've been homeschooled since the middle of 3rd grade and when school starts back it will be my 4th year in a co-op. I didn't do the co-op for a few years. It's once a week and I really enjoy it, the work is done at home and gone over the day of the co-op. So excited to maybe see how you homeschool Luca!

I love the part where you mentioned about having faith over fear... I'm challenged by the possibility of having a stillbirth... I'm at 36 weeks gestation, so far so good. Thank God 🙏

I had my first pregnancy two years ago and speaking from my personal experience, be extra kind to yourself when it comes to intimacy during pregnancy and even postpartum. When I got into the second half of the second trimester, I started having pain during intercourse and that lasted until I was six months postpartum. I also had a c-section, so that more than likely contributed to that, as well.
Something I didn’t even realize was a thing until after I gave birth was pelvic floor dysfunction. This doesn’t happen to everyone during pregnancy, FYI, so don’t be alarmed; just know it is a possibility. I had always assumed that after the six week wait post-delivery was up, the pain would be completely gone since that’s what doctors advise. For me, that didn’t end up being the case. My husband and I both felt really bad for each other for a while, but what we got out of that experience was a deeper love and appreciation for each other outside of sex.
Sex shouldn’t be the end-all be-all for a relationship, but more the icing on the cake of a deeper type of intimacy that can’t be explained unless you’ve been without the physical aspect for an extended amount of time, which is what happened for us.
Hope this helps! P.S.: If you do end up having this issue, look into pelvic floor therapy. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes great! 🙂

Im a new mom with a 5 month old baby boy.
Like your friends sister said, your mom instincts will kick in! It’s so cool.
Every baby is different and things work different for every baby. I think it’s good to have knowledge about options of things that you can do but as a mom you just have to go with the flow.
Also I highly recommend the book Peaceful Parenting, Happy Kids!!
And last thing lol. Giving birth is so magical and amazing! Honestly postpartum is harder but I feel like that’s not talked about as much.
Enjoy your time. Rest. Be gracious with yourself. ♥️

Morgan I am so happy to hear that you are planning on having a natural birth! I did it too and I am just so proud of myself and have felt so close to my baby since I feel like we’ve fought trough that experience together! I know you can do it! You already have the right mindset of not being fearful and trusting on your body and the lord! I’m due august 3rd with my second baby and will be giving birth naturally again as well 😍🥰 I’m so excited for both of us !

I totally agree with you..when I was pregnant I was overwhelmed with the abundance of information out there. I read Mama Natural's week by week guide to pregnancy and my husband and I did their birth course and infant care course. This was the primary source of information and it was detailed and comprehensive enough and their birth course focuses a lot on home births.
I definitely agree with your friend also - the mama instincts kick in for sure!!! ❤️

Best, best parenting advice I've gotten so far is to ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom even in the super small things. That still small voice knows exactly what you and baby need in that exact moment.

I am homeschooled and go to a once a week co-op as well as a science lab once a week with other homeschoolers! I still get plenty of socializing with other kids through sports, youth group/bible study, and the great Christian friend group I have through co-op. Totally think it’s smart to homeschool/do a Christian online school with everything crazy going on in the world right now! I hope you start feeling better soon! Continued prayers for baby olli!

I’m commenting here in hopes that Morgan will see this. I think your relationship is toxic! I think you deserve better than this, and I hope you find a way to value yourself more than throwing your life away on a guy like this. He’s toxic, and emotionally manipulative, and that often culminates in abuse. I love you, God loves you, all your fans love you, you have support if you need it.

Yeah it’s like only an additional 300 calories to sustain you and baby, from my research and I did exactly what you did and with was eating scrambled eggs with spinach and onions and toast my whole 2nd trimester we went through so many eggs lol but only gained like 24 ish pounds balance is extremely important and if I could go back I’d work out more even just going for longer walks and light weight lifting because I heard thats supposed to make labor easier

If you’re interested in essential newborn baby items that you’ll actually use check out my most recent UA-cam video.
I feel like so many first time mamas get so excited and purchase everything and then don’t use most of it 🙈 hence why I thought I’d share what I used most as a mama of 5.
So happy for you and Paul! Can’t wait to watch this new chapter in your life unfold 🥰

I was homeschooled, and the biggest downside I felt in my own *personal* experience was the lack of socialisation with kids my age. If I have kids I know that’s got to be a priority, if they’re homeschooled or otherwise.
Seeing you eat makes me hungry, lol😅

Yeah, I’m sorry to hear you had lack of socialisation. I was homeschooled too and personally loved it. I got a great education and had a great social life. The school kids I know have lots of friends but not many good strong friends.

Congrats on choosing the best path for you for labor and delivery! I’m due with my first in July and also decided home natural birth would be the best option for me-I also very much feel uncomfortable in hospitals despite having multiple family members who work in them. Everyone around me is excited and supportive of me being the pioneer for home birth in my circle. I feel so at peace about it and my midwife is amazing! :)

You said not to comment on you chosing a homebirth but one thing i wanted to say: I LOVE IT! Hope that is an okay reaction for you. If not - delete it or something. I studied to be a midwife - and in the Netherlands (where I live) natural home births are much more common and they are BEAUTIFUL. While I was doing an internship I witnessed my first ever home birth - the woman labored in her bathtub and even though it is over 10y ago, I still remember every single detail, because it was the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. You can do it, Morgan.
