Cutting tatami with the Dane Axe from Arms & Armor at the Valley of the Sun Cutting Tournaments

This past weekend, Brittany and I held the second Valley of the Sun Cutting Tournaments. Arms & Armor generously sponsored the event by donating this type M Dane axe as a prize. In this video, Brittany, our friend Julian and I cut tatami mats with this Dane axe. It cuts mats very well and you can hear it ring loudly after each cut. A very well made weapon! Thanks to Nathan and everyone at Arms & Armor for supporting the Valley of the Sun Cutting Tournaments.

Great chopping everyone! A testament to how well made the dane axe is: cutting tatami with an axe is a very different experience than cutting it with an sword :)
