Super informative! This job is my backup for fire protection and now I’m more interested in it. Thanks for the information much love
Aye bro idk if you already signed but it’s smarter to go in medical and then go get your fire cert if your trying to be a firefighter I’ve already been through fire academy in high school it’s easy
Same here lol
Eh I would stick with fire. You can still get your EMT with it. If you’re more into medical then go with Med Tech 4N0. With air force cool (more tuition) you can get other certain depending on your job. AFVEC - AF Virtual education center can show you what certifications it can pay for you depending on the job
Dont know but...getting to the fire protection is like passing through a needle hole as per some members of it
I am a 4N071F. I am Search and Extraction. I've been in almost 10 years, and though I have my ups and downs, I love it!!
Wow sounds cool search and extreact
This has me super excited now because this is the job I was put into and I ship out for bmt on June 30th. I already knew this was something that would interest me, but Alex seems to have had the same goals and interests as me and he seems to love it.
How are you doing now?
^ yeah man how’s it going?
Loved Ft. Sam. My MOS was a 68w/m6 in the Army. That means Combat Medic/LPN. Been out since ‘09 so thank u for ur continued service.
I did my tech school (ait) with the 68W. We were the only air force to work alongside the Whiskeys.
68C gives you a full LPN upfront
THANKS for this!! This is the job I got going into basic! Leaving 11.19
I got the same job & I'll be at bmt at the same time lmao
@@ron3165 looks like I'll see you in Tech school 😅

@@sonnydaniels9903 I'm about done with the program now, I'll be starting pretty soon 💯

Yes , I was just researching this job.
if u wanna have a glimpse of phase 1 i have a link:)
@@johnsunga8465 that would be appreciated
Not sure if youll see this given the video is a year old but did Alex receive his Paramedic license in the air force or before he joined?
On the website for this job it lists EMT as a qualifications. Does this mean you need this qualification ahead or you receive it during training?
Can u find a 3e3x1 guy soon. Tryna make a decision on what branch to join for construction but I wanna know which branches construction specialty is the best. It would help me a lot
Shipping out on april with this job! 😁
Marah Jane me too! lol
Let me know if you have any questions since this is my job!
@@trevorlaury7572 Unfortunately I took a different afsc.. 4h0x1. They made me pick between the two. But now, I dont have a ship date. Oh well!
Marah Jane Cardiopulmonary seems interesting. & I lost my ship date too. Have you got reassigned a new one yet?
Rae Mala Heyy! No.. i havent gotten a new ship date yet. Been praying for one soon! 🙏🏼
Apparently I've got bad eyes too so I'm looking into medical.
I'm trying to retrain from maintenance.
You might not be able to work, in the civilian sector, using your national EMT or Paramedic registration. It might depend on the state. When I went home to MA I had to take a MA EMT course and get a state EMT cert. It's been a few years, so it's possible MA has done away with that. My personal opinion is that it was about MA getting money. The cost of the EMT program and the cost of state certification.
Hmmm ow long is the EMT program?
Could you see yourself finishing a BSN Nursing degree while working this job?
A tip: watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Antonio Steven Yea, I have been using flixzone} for years myself :D
@Antonio Steven definitely, I have been using Flixzone} for since december myself :D
@Antonio Steven yea, I have been watching on flixzone} for months myself :D
Did you have to have any qualifications for this AFSC? Like any pre-certifications to be considered for this job?
Is there a job specifically for a nurse in the Air Force ? And how do you think your current job preps you be a nurse
E Hid. I’m planning to join the USAF as an RN. To my knowledge, being an RN is an officer position. Meaning a BSN and otp is required.
Awesome thanks
It would be nice if u added a b role clip so we can see what the job is or any job that anybody comes om
Does anyone know if you need prior experience to get into this job or any medical enlisted job? My recruiter told me that most people in these jobs have prior experience or certifications so it’s really tough to get if you have no experience.
you do not need prior medical experience. it helps greatly bc the phase I tech experience is fast paced so having some sort of bio/medical background helps greatly but it is not necessary! they teach you everything youll need to know!
Do you get to pick which shred out you want or do the Air Force pick it for you?
Hey Kyle would you mind throwing a question about color vision in your future videos like this please? That’s literally the only thing holding me back.
Aidan McWhirter I got this job even though I failed the color vision test!
Dominic Martinez 😮😃
If you talk to your recruiter they can give you the list of jobs that are open to those who are color blind. That's a medical condition and if I started asking for some medical conditions I would have to start asking for several different kinds of medical conditions that either allow or prevent you from the job. If that makes sense? This is more on the job itself and less on who qualifies for what jobs. The goal is to have people talk to a recruiter find out what they qualify for and then they can look up these videos to decide which will fit them best
Airman Vision Yeah I understand. Thank you for making these videos I watch just about every one of them! I’d love to talk to a recruiter, but they just don’t recruit... they’re like Bigfoot around here in Houston.
Go to their office and talk to them!
Is this job also referred to as flight medic ? I’m a reservist and I leave for basic February 4th!
Angelina Gonzalez they have what is AE or Air Evac. There is requirements prior however you can certainly go that route if you’d like.
did you have to score high on your asvab to get your job?
did you have prior medical experience before receiving this job?
So when I enlist out of high school, will my First aid/CPR and prevention of injury help me get this job in anyway?
Your AHA CPR might give you a slight edge but if you wanted to stand out youd need your Emt-b or Emt-p like this guy. Hope you got in buddy.
Do you need prior experience for this job ?!
Hey I leave jan 14th. My job is 4j0x2 physical medicine. There is not a lot of videos out there for it. If you need some info on this job lemme know once I'm out of basic march 13th
How do you like it
Im in the exact same situation this guy was in. Currently working on my job list in the SERE dorms haha
What do you have to score to get this job?
65 on general knowledge
RambunctiousVids On my sheet, it says 50
we have a phase 1 video in youtube. like a summary for it if you wanna watch lmk:)
John Sunga please! I leave for this job January 14th!
Rafael M ua-cam.com/video/Ei0S6kNsD3c/v-deo.html dm me on ig if u have questions @johnsunga19
I ship out dec 14th for this job
Can you do some CE jobs?
We are not under the CE squadron but as a Medic you can work out of a Firehouse which is apart of CE. Hope this helps 😁
Is it difficult to obtain the SEI training
Know anything about SEI 455?
What if you are already a LPN do you have to take that part over?
Not in my day, you went in as a sergeant, but not promoted until after basic training, check the recent regulations.
Bro,
Can you talk about TRF???
Security Forces TRF
Thanks.
I was TRF @ FE Warren back in 2011-2014
I leave April 14th and I have this job! I was wondering if there was any books I should read or anything before tech school. I am super worried about getting washed back
How did it go?
Would’ve Guarded or Reserved out tbh.
Don’t you get a LPN license
7:37 By "Deploy" I believe they meant do you get to go overseas to Iraq, for example.
Emt is garbage money though...cant really use this in civillian world
active duty contract length?
So fellas and ladies I got some info for y’all that contradicts whatever they might tell you at meps or even your recruit. ALL JOBS QUALIFY A 4 YEAR CONTRACT!!!! . If they tell you a certain job requires a 6 year. That is FALSE. so linguist, nuclear, air traffic. All can be signed with a 4 year contract. Plus. Certain jobs are only offered in basic and some jobs are only offered in dep. if you have a good recruiter he will let you know and show you where it’s said. I just submitted my job request with my recruiter and he broke it all down to me and told me and showed me where it says all enlisted jobs qualify a 4 year contract. Some jobs require a 6 year if you want the bonus pay. But you can sign a 4 year for any jobs
Anthony Prophet what’s an Air Force nuclear ☢️ job
Mick Funny nuclear weapons. You can find the job on the Air Force page in careers
