this has been the song that i play on repeat everytime im on an airplane, everytime i can't sleep, everytime i just want to melt into the music. it is utterly gorgeous.
It's a crime this song isn't more popular. I discovered this on a radio station in the UK and couldn't get the song out my head. A masterful performance. Just perfect.
I couldn’t sleep and it was before the sunrise, so I went for a walk. I was stopped and grabbed by a speaker on the ceiling in this empty LA strip mall. This song spoke to me and I felt grateful to be awake. Thank you.
Im not really into music...most especially modern music. I can live a year without hearing one. But there are few exceptional days when a song would caught my attention. This is one of those songs. I just love this and Im so shocked to know theres not even a 500k views on it!
Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired On a transatlantic flight Before sunrise I'm dazed and confused Just like Julie Delpy Like Leia say you do I wanna see you roll your eyes And televise the review I wanna make you mine I wanna make you mine God's handiwork in the clouds You navigate in the crowds Of the festival Of the festival Lighthearted, heavy-hearted too It's something I wouldn't put my worst enemy through Now I'm looking at the sun through My eyelids My eyelids Now I'm drifting in the astral plane When will I see you again? Are you drifting in the astral plane? When will I see you again? So why don't you Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired You look good when you're tired Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired On a transatlantic flight Transatlantic flight I am a prisoner Prisoner I am a prisoner Prisoner On a transatlantic flight Prisoner A prisoner I am a prisoner On a transatlantic flight Prisoner A prisoner Transatlantic flight So why don't you Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired Come on, come on, come on over Start talking to me One thing, one thing I can tell you You look good when you're tired On a transatlantic flight
This song is shockingly beautiful and I am absolutely blown over by it... but I also feel compelled to say that it slaps at 1.5x, even with the slightly squeezed audio.
Found this beautiful gem after watching FEEL GOOD. Here you go, the lyrics: Before sunrise I’m dazed and confused Just like Julie Delpy like Léa Seydoux I wanna see you roll your eyes In a televised interview I wanna make you mine
God’s handiwork in the clouds You navigating the crowds Of the festival You’re lighthearted Heavyhearted too Something I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through Now I’m looking at the sun through My eyelids My eyelids
Now I’m drifting in the astral plane When will I see you again Are you drifting in the astral plane When will I see you again
So why don’t you come on over Start talking to me One thing I can tell you You look good when you’re tired On a transatlantic flight
I had my favorite Korean singer-songwriter Baekja subscribe to Leif Vollebekk's channel today. ✨✨💕💖 First of all, I've loved your music for more than a decade and Baekjanim told me that he could understand why I love your music and his altogether :) I also wonder what colors you saw when you sang each note in this masterpiece. You know what? Your songs sometimes sound more gorgeous than Julie Delphy or Lea Seydoux.
Still remember how blown away I was by seeing "elegy", amazing song and video. All because his name is 100% Norwegian, but he doesn't come here on tour... oh also I recommend the "Don't come to Klaksvik" song from the first album. I thought it was some kind of Frank Sinatra-era song. I love artists that seem to would have done the exact same thing if the audience were zero, one or 1k people.
This is a great song and a great artist, but I can't help but feel that if the structure of the song was revised it would be even more powerful. Also the string interlude starting at 4:48 is very reminiscent of I Never by Rilo Kiley.
I love the nod to Richard Linklater...(Before Sunrise, Julie Delpy, Dazed and Confused). Im not sure what Lea Seydoux's connection is to that verse, other than being another french actress. Anyone?
“In the last sequence, while we were by the water, when I opened my eyes, I suddenly saw a pack of dogs with these neon collars, like the kind you’d see at a rave or dance party. It was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen-to see these neon-collared dogs with this epic sea as a backdrop, in the distance running towards me. Their owner, she was calling to them to come back, but they were headed straight for me. I laughed so hard. She was so kind and yelled to me, ‘I’m so sorry I hope they didn’t ruin your video!’ We just left the whole thing in.”

One of the several beautiful and perfect inclusions on Feel Good's soundtrack (Just finished binge watching both the seasons). It's surely ain't 'Fleabag' but definite 'You're the Worst' vibes.
This was SO PERFECT for that sequence in "Feel Good." 💜
The song is beautiful, but he should acknowledge Van Morrison.
Agree! That’s how I ended up here
Also how i ended up here.. great track
@@a.in.sydney Leif is a fan of Van Morrison's and has cited in interviews that he listens to his music (and sometimes covers his songs)
The soundtrack is exquisite. Half moon run are now my new fave band.
Who found this song after watching Feel Good? #Underrated
this has been the song that i play on repeat everytime im on an airplane, everytime i can't sleep, everytime i just want to melt into the music. it is utterly gorgeous.
Feel Good brought me here. Thanks for the powerful music
Some days you just discover a genius. Today was one of those days. Thank you immensely.
I accidentally stumbled upon this master 3 days ago on some automated Spotify suggestion playlist. Now I can't let go. I can't stop. I can't leave.
The tone in the part ”drifting in the astroplane” is One in a billion. Amazing!
I got goosebumps
Doesn't acknowledge Van Morrison
I think he’s saying “drifting in the astral plane”! also, what’s all this about van morrison, is it a cover or an interpolation from a Morrison song?
@@lewisbarton1Astral plane makes sense. Van Morrison had a Record named ”Astral weeks”
My favorite part

That sounds like a scene from a movie! That’s how I’ve found so many good songs, in a moment of spontaneity and coincidence
Your heard this song in an empty building before the sunrise?? How??
From south africa, I've loved your music for years. Something really special. Please keep making music.
This song just about brought me to my knees. Powerful stuff.

i swear if i was responsible for watching this video enough times to get it on the trending list i wouldn't be surprised
Saw him opening for Gregory Alan Isakov in Austin last night. I’ve never heard him before last night. Love this.
He’s amazing……
It must have been a dream show! Gregory Alan Isakov and Leif Vollebekk sang on the same stage!
I envy you through and through~~ ㅠ.ㅠ
Lief, take a flight over to the UK. We love ya
He's been over twice this year I think.
Anyone here because of series Feel Good, season 2? Love this song!
Breaks my heart beautifully.

A masterpiece!
He should acknowledge Van Morrison
it's criminal this song doesn't have more attention
Come on, come on, come on over
Start talking to me
One thing, one thing I can tell you
You look good when you're tired
Come on, come on, come on over
Start talking to me
One thing, one thing I can tell you

On a transatlantic flight

I'm dazed and confused
Just like Julie Delpy

And televise the review
I wanna make you mine

God's handiwork in the clouds
You navigate in the crowds
Of the festival

Lighthearted, heavy-hearted too

❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Come to Barcelona, pls
What watch is he wearing?
Somehow 7 minutes and too short. Bravo
Tem brasileiro curtindo também.
Does someone has the lyrics?
Vim pelo anúncio do instagram. Me lembrou a dança do Coringa no banheiro.
Do you think this is about or a nod to Before Sunrise? ❤
Do yah mind
Esti que j'ai hâte que ça sorte cet album là. FUCK.
🫀🎹🫀🎼🫀❤🫀🎼🫀🎹🫀
If Post Malone was on the chorus though…
LOVE the music, esp with the crescendo of violins. Only negative thought - little bit repetitive for me and additional lyrics would've been nice.
❤
