For your supp app, did you focus on the positionality part of the rubric? I'm having such a hard time figuring out how to incorporate that part into my essay......
no we didn't have an rubric that needed us to focus on positionality. Personally, I would look into EDII stuff and think about how certain stereotypes may positively benefit you in social position, power, access to resources and how has it shaped your identity as compared to someone who is at a disadvantage (e.g. asians being good at math as compared to others)? Don't take my word for granted cause I'm not the people at admission but that's the first thing I thought of when it comes to positionality.
You had such cool percentages in different subjects in grade 11 & 12 and this has got me thinking whether I will even stand a chance in getting addmission into queen's Health science program because you could say that I have got average percentage overall 😭😭😭
Hey! I think average percentage will differ every year. For example, last year the average admission was like 98% or something. So really focus on writing a good supp app as that's what's gonna make u stand out.
@@kevinxiao877 Do average percentages differ from country to country or is there a method they use to convert our results equivalent to their percentage grade system?
@@kevinxiao877 hey! I also wanted to know that when we apply for Queen's University through OUAC application, do we have to mention all institutions from grade 9 onwards in academic background section?
i'd love to see a video on more about your essays or of you reading them!
That hotpot essay was gold, I still remember it
i'd love to see a video of you reading your essays
