Personally I like this phone because it has the potential to be a phone that doesn't require a new case every time the owner decides they want to give it a new look; you could just put a clear case on it (however that might work, I'm still figuring this one out myself) and then have the back be always on before setting a rear view wallpaper (with some anti aliasing and possibly an 80% pitch black wallpaper to save battery). Personally I think it'd look pretty cool seeing phones with animated backs on them, though I guess the one drawback would be the potential for hackers to put rude pictures or messages on the rear of the phone whilst the user is making a call.

If they could make the rear display matte finish & have a real protective coating that drops wouldnt break it, then the real advantage of having that display would be that you customise the back of your phone to look like anything you want. Like having infinite phone cases. All other use cases (except for a single camera unit for selfie & shooting), you mentioned in the video can be achieved by just swiping up from bottom in the current versions of all phones

This phone actually brings memories back from when phones were fun. Not all of them were necessarily practical, but they were "cool" in their way. I just love seeing how many people comes up to say a concept thing "is shit". Companies such as Apple and Samsung don't delve into this realm because it's much easier to just design something the "market" wants. Coming up with a concept though is completely different, pushing their technologies is something we aren't necessarily seeing. All of them for the past few generations have mostly been chipset changes with very minor differences besides performance.

Honestly i think it's better off not being touch screen on the back. But I guess that may be impossible if the sides were to retain their touch capabilities. The customization of side buttons would be endless. Having selfie screen with the big camera is a huge plus. Moving apps to the back for multi tasking sounds great. Like a dedicated zone for no matter what, dont refresh this particular app. Etc so much you can do
My idea for virtual volume buttons: "only 1 button, similar to the power button, if you put your finger on it (let's say 1-1.5 seconds), the volume pops up, and depending on your finger, if you move it up or down along the sides of the phone, the volume would increase or lower." I think it's way more practical, than doing it the same way as on normal ones.

Just a question I would found useful this kind of phone, I bet that using the second screen eats less baterry like if I go jogging or walking or don't know listening to music and I use the sec screen just to change music it's useful and other small stuf like u said checking clock or small notif. U should do a test using second screen u will see dif in baterry usage . the one thing that could scare me is droping it. It's a sensitive phone for sensitive and unique people. Nice video.

They could make a version of this phone that just goes around the edges. It could be really useful, from games/apps utilizing it as shoulder buttons or as notifications. If it gains traction, we can even do touch gestures without covering the screen with our fingers-like imagine scrolling UA-cam videos without covering the progress bar with our finger.

If you stretched the front screen to be 21:9 Aspect Ratio, the rear could be 16:9 Aspect Ratio and the remaining rear area can be used for the Camera Sensor Cluster.
